  • SB 8 - The Lion’s Roar by First Aid Kit

I feel like these intros are gonna be a feature length film if this keeps up. ANYWAY back in 2012ish, I was actually out of school completely (I was wrong in this episode, I'm bad at memory), but sometime in that bunch of years, I went to an FYE to grab some random albums based on covers, names, what have you, and ended up with this fantastic folk album. With influences from classic Americana, country, and indie rock, we've got a recipe for some good vibes. Come hang out in the cabana with us while we have a listen to First Aid Kit's 2012 album, The Lion's Roar.

All the love to Erik for joining me, go listen to ICP w/We and Fukkfaace and other projects he's done at www.icpwwe.com!

  • SB 7 - Beta by The Robot Knights

In the year 2017, times were...well, they were. In that hour of darkness and despair, when hope was nearly lost, a couple nerds in the month of june finally release to the world an album unlike any before it. Featuring songs about robots, knights, robots who are knights, and how fucking rad dinosaurs are, it gave the world a reason to keep going. At the very least, it gave me a reason to go out fighting to the last. Here we are now, taking a trip back to the undisclosed location of the Schmeevburger in Paradise Bar & Grille to have another look at The Robot Knights and their first and last full-length album, Beta.

Big thanks to The Homie Jigglz for joining me, find him and his plethora of projects here: https://linktr.ee/jigglz

  • Ep. 95 - W.I.C.K.E.D. by Twiztid

Twiztid made a bold choice for their last album, having guests on nearly every track. But they never make the same album twice, and so they set out to make a modern horror classic of them and them alone (ish). The JJ Boyz are here to listen to that end result, them and them alone (ish). Do Twiztid continue to improve as lyrical monsters while creating some truly sinister audio imagery? Is a lack of guests a benefit or a detriment to the full product? Is our guest a hater of some of the album's best tracks, but refuses to acknowledge that they're wrong? Find out the answers to these and more today as we get dark and... W.I.C.K.E.D.

  • Ep. 94 - Let ’Em Bleed: The Mixxtape, Vol. 3 by DJ Clay

Hold on... 3? DJ Clay released 3 projects in a calendar year?!? Clay clearly has to make an impression with the Juggalos, so consistent music is a good way to do it. After a mediocre drop in the quality of the 2nd iteration, could Hatchet House's supreme cutmaster deliver strong in the 3rd outing? Do his labelmates learn from the 2nd volumes missteps and bring us some straight fire? Do we get a cover of one of our favorite songs we've ever heard by Schmeev's favorite artist that this show has ever covered? Find out today as people continue to allow DJ Clay to commit various bodily atrocities and... Let 'Em Bleed (The Mixxtape: Vol. 3).

  • Ep. 93 - Mudface by Anybody Killa

Anybody Killa is someone that we have trouble finding negative things to say about here. Dude is just overall really consistent, even if he created Road Fools. Well after a 2-year stint away from The Hatchet, the Hatchet WARRIOR makes his glorious return. But would the Juggalos welcome him back with open arms? Has he found more ways to talk about how he is Native American? And is it possible that Mike got the release timeline wrong for how we should have recorded episodes? (Find out next episode). Answers to these and more will be found here today as we check out ABK's 3rd Psychopathic Records LP... Mudface.

  • Ep. 92 - God’s Hand by Axe Murder Boyz

After Blood In, Blood Out, AMB took some time away from Psychopathic Records (because their contract was only for 1 album, remember?). In that time, they continued to hone their craft, both behind the mic and behind the scenes. Crafting their next masterpiece caught the attention of Violent J, who wanted to put them in the underground's public eye once again. But was the final product really the next big thing that the Juggalos needed? Does Otis improve as a rapper and a producer? Who is that mysterious 2nd voice on this album? And did we really need a 10-minute glorified skit? Find out the answers to these and more as we take a walk and hold... God's Hand.

  • Ep. 91 - Tunnel Runners by Tunnel Runners

Psychopathic Record is the label that runs beneath the streets. Hatchet House is the sub-label of the label that runs beneath the streets. A house is below the underneath of the streets. In a way, you could say it resides in the tunnels. And if you need to traverse those tunnels quickly, you could briskly walk through them. You could even run. Guys, idk what kind of description i'm trying to make for this. In 2008, Psychopathic decided to release a compilation of some heavy hitters in the underground. Lots of people we spoke with warned us of this album, but is it really all that bad? Find out today as we hit the underground and encounter... Tunnel Runners.

  • Ep. 90 - Let ’Em Bleed: The Mixxtape, Vol. 2 by DJ Clay

2 releases in the same year? DJ Clay is putting work in! After his solid opening endeavor on Hatchet House, there's seemingly no plans on slowing down with the murderous mixtape madness. Clay has to keep showing his skills behind the boards and even on the mic, but best believe the entire Hatchet Family is going to do the same! Does Clay continue to pick up steam mere months after his first record? Does Boondox return to bring joy to Schmeev? And does this truly contain the worst Twiztid song? Find out today as DJ Clay slices up the haters and returns to... Let 'Em Bleed (The Mixxtape: Vol. 2).

  • Ep. 89 - Welcome To The Dark Side by The R.O.C.

The R.O.C.'s story with Psychopathic Records is an interesting one. From touring with ICP as a member of H.O.K., to leaving H.O.K., inadvertently causing Mr. Bones and Hektik to rebrand as Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child and become Twiztid on Psychopathic, continuing to use H.O.K. and also releasing music as a solo artist, to patching things up with his former group members and eventually joining The Hatchet himself, he had done a lot in his rap career. Joining Hatchet House, R.O.C. would initially be Blaze's hype man and partner in the new group Zodiac Mprint, but before we would get a record from the duo, a solo release was necessary to get people up to speed. Would R.O.C. stand out from the better-known labelmates? Do guest features overshadow his abilities? Is he, like many of his Hatchet homies, a total nerd? Find out the answers to these and more as we bid you a fine... Welcome To The Dark Side.
