On this week's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, Nick Osen joins the show for a Cubs vs. Brewers preview and an in-depth breakdown of the Final Four as the NCAA Tournament is nearing its end. We both expressed our disgust in the way the Cubs have started out the 2019 MLB season. I put out the positive energy heading into the weekend, as I will be down at Miller Park for two of the three contests between the Cubs and Brewers, hoping the Cubs can string a few wins together. Moving forward, both Nick and myself gave our Final Four predictions, and it was pretty clear that Nick has some bias toward the Virginia Cavaliers winning it all. Unfortunately, it has been a tough week in the entertainment world, as we lost LA legend Nipsey Hussle. I felt it was important for us to express our condolences to his family, and recognize such an influential person in the hip-hop industry and community of Los Angeles. Our thoughts are also with Matt Stafford and his family this week as it was announced that his wife is currently battling brain cancer. Not wanting to end on a bad note, I shared my support for Murray State's Ja Morant as he declared for the NBA Draft this week. I'm wishing nothing but success for him in the future. On this week's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, Nick Osen joins the show for a very special conversation on all things March Madness! Nick is in San Jose, California this week to cover the Wisconsin Badgers as they look to make a run in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. We discussed our hopes and predictions for the Badgers against Oregon on Friday afternoon, and also our expectations for them as a whole in the tournament. Moving forward, we discussed some very exciting Round of 64 matchups, including Wofford vs Seton Hall and Murray State vs Marquette. I gave my picks for this year's possible dark-horses of the tournament that will hopefully make a deep run further into March. This week's episode of the Juice Time Podcast features two very special guests, with whom I had great conversations on my recent trip out to Colorado. Firstly, I chopped it up with a very good friend of mine, Casey Marksberry. We touched on a wide variety of topics such as friendship, his time as a collegiate athlete, his upcoming study abroad program, and his new passion in music. Casey spoke on the fun experiences he had as a quarterback at Colorado University. He also spoke honestly about his decision to leave the program to pursue other endeavors, like studying abroad in Europe this upcoming semester.  Casey's lovely sister, Macy, joined us toward the end of the podcast to talk about their new song together titled: "Beautiful Ways". She also mentioned her upcoming live show in Castle Rock, Colorado, and how this is an exciting opportunity for her, as she hasn't performed live in a long time. This was by far and away one of my favorite episodes to record, as I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Casey's stories, as well as his and Macy's process of recording their new track together. Heading into the holiday weekend, myself and Nick Osen sat down for an extensive discussion strictly regarding the NFL, as regular season days are numbered. We spoke on the Bears excellent win over the rival Green Bay Packers to give them the title of NFC North Champions, and ultimately a spot in the NFL Playoffs. We moved right into mentioning the extensive list of Bears players that have earned the honor of being able to call themselves Pro Bowlers, and what it means for the four first-timers getting this very well deserved recognition. Staying on the topic of the Pro Bowl, we gave our pick for biggest Pro Bowl snub in Alvin Kamara. As the end of the season approaches, the NFL Awards are looming, and we went down the line with a very in-depth look at the possible winners of those high honors that showcase the league's finest players all across the board. As always, the upcoming week's slate of games (Week 16) was discussed, giving our usual games to watch and enjoy as the regular season is coming to a close rapidly. On this special Thanksgiving edition of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen dove right into the NFL, and discussed the Bears dominant win over the Vikings in Week 11. We moved right into the Bears vs Lions matchup on Thanksgiving day, lending our insight on whether we believe Chase Daniel can get the job done for the Bears. We also spoke on one of the most incredible scoring outbursts in NFL history that took place this past Monday night in the Chiefs vs Rams game.
