Just 2 B!tches

This month on The Mad Hen, your hosts Christie and Vanessa sit and talk with a couple of the Co-Founders for Long Island's very first STATTfest! Steve and Dan have spent most of their life on Long Island and have such a love and commitment to their community. So they decided to bring something fun to the locals!

It all started with a conversation among friends. Soon, they fell down the rabbit hole and have been on one hell of an adventure ever since! Luckily, we get to hear the ins and outs as well as getting to know the heart and soul behind this whole operation.

We find out about their hard working team, partners, and local companies participating in STATTfest. The talent involved in the festival range from The Floozies and The Expendables, to our favorite local bands such as, The Big Happy and Iriespect and many more!

Kick back and enjoy! But always remember, it’s ‘Summer Time All The Time’!

On this episode of The Mad Hen, your hosts Christie and Vanessa sit down and chat with Drama Club NYC, a non-profit which provides theatre programming to incarcerated and/or court involved youth.

This time-no ice breakers. Instead, we dive right into NYC's jail system and discuss the flaws as well as the community. Our conversation goes from explaining how a child as young as 7 can get arrested, to what it was like working on Rikers Island.

Listen and learn with us!

Be sure to follow Drama Club NYC on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!

Also, don't forget to donate!
