Tragically on November 19, 2022, many of us lost someone who was incredibly dear to our childhood. Actor Jason David Frank died at the too young age of 49. For most of his fans it was JDFs' portrayal of Tommy Oliver throughout The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise. Starting as The Green Ranger then becoming The White Ranger. He would eventually wear the mantle of the Red Ranger (Zeo/Turbo) and Black Ranger (Dino Thunder). While being a Ranger was what we knew and loved him for - it was his dedication to the franchise and fan interactions that left an indelible mark on his fans and us. When people say you should never meet your heroes that was the exact opposite truth with JDF. May the Power Protect you Always Jason David Frank - and we will never forget how you made us forever shout IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!!!!

Happy Black Friday to you Friday Night Faithful! We have the perfect companion for your day filled with Christmas shopping Adamantium Adam and CM Chuck! Today we say goodbye to one of our all-time favorite television series THE WALKING DEAD. The series finale aired last Sunday and we wanted to discuss our thoughts on the finale and last episodes as well give a bit of a retrospective on the series as a whole. Also we want to talk a bit about what the future holds for The Walking Dead Universe. This will be JAFN's 4th episode on TWD go listen to our previous episodes on it! "We got one enemy. RISE TALOKAN!!! Tonight we are discussing BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER - if you haven't seen it beware SPOILERS AHEAD! We are going to dive deep into the depths of Talokan to tell what we thought of this film so stop here and go watch it if you haven't!! In what was no doubt going to be an emotional roller coaster since the passing of the late, great King Chadwick Boseman, we were left with a question. What would a Black Panther sequel be without T'Challa? Ryan Coogler proves complete mastery over storytelling as we see the passing of one King and the rise of another. Much of the original magnificent cast returns in addition to some new heavy hitters. Mainly the man himself Tenoch Huerta as NAMOR aka Ku'Kulcan maybe aka The Sub-Mariner? We shall see! We have a lot to say about this film so grab some beer from the motherland and join us as we prepare to wage war on the surface world!

Happy Veterans Day to all the men and women who have proudly served our country and continue to serve. To both our Fathers  - Army and Marine Corps veterans respectively. We also want to bid a fond farewell to fellow podcaster and co-host of The Blurred Nerds Marselles Coe who left the Earth today for a spot in Heaven. If that wasn't enough The Legendary and perhaps most universally agreed upon BEST Batman Kevin Conroy also passed away today.  We wish them both Godspeed. The show must go on however and today we are here to discuss the HBO series House of the Dragon in a return to Westeros and the Game of Thrones franchise. The 10 episode series focuses in on the Targaryen dynasty some 200 years before the GOT we know. We hope The GeekFather and the Batman will be watching in spirit with us!

First up is the sensational SHE-HULK: Attorney at Law starring Tatiana Maslany as Jen Walters aka She-Hulk. This 9 part series was met to mixed reviews BUT tonight you'll get the JAFN take. And since we rode Spooky October til the end we wanted to give you what we missed that last month and this one was super interesting to us. Dubbed a Marvel Special Presentation we got WEREWOLF BY NIGHT and it's never too late for one more monster story! This one's got it all double the monsters, double the mayhem, and Double A and CM Chuck! It's November y'all - crack the cold ones and let's smash this Friday Night!!!

Finally THE ROCK is BACK in BLACK!!! Double A and CM Chuck saw Black Adam and we are here on this fine Friday Night to tell you just what we thought! With that being said SPOILERS are ahead!!! If you haven't seen Black Adam and do not want it spoiled we suggest turning this podcast off. Dwayne Johnson pursued this passion project for 15 years and we finally got to see the on screen appearance of a new and extremely powerful character BLACK ADAM. If you aren't familiar with him then you are in luck because Adamantium Adam is our resident Black Adam fan and CM Chuck is going to get the skinny on more of this character. Grab a cold beer, pop in your earbuds and tune for a fun one! Has the balance of power shifted in DC Universe??? We are going to tell you what we think!

Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality. BUT...there is, unseen by most, an underworld - a place that is just as real but not as brightly lit...a DARKSIDE. 90 episodes from 1983 to 1988 and a feature film in 1990 Tales from the Darkside was a series that tackled not just ghost stories, sci-fi adventures, & creepy, unexplainable events. On top of all that it has one of the most bone-chilling themes and intros in all of the lexicon of anthology horror shows! The DARKSIDE is always there waiting for us to enter; waiting to ENTER US. Continuing our conjuring up of the delightfully DREARY and DEAD TALES for our tales series! This week we revisit the primeCRIME ghost host with the most our fiendish friend THE CRYPTKEEPER! That's right kiddies it's back to the crypt for TALES FROM THE CRYPT! What episodes gave you the willies from HBOs 1990s gem of a series? Here's hoping we can re-animate some old nightmares or at very least a few screams!

Finally we get The Walking Dead anthology series we'd always hoped for since we first heard about Fear the Walking Dead. Now in these 6 self contained stories we get to see what was happening in other places with other people in other scenarios. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to those very unique scenarios and the entire series left us with very Creepshow vibes. Which to us is perfect for spooky season and the coming month of October!
