Just another WordPress site

Hahahahaha, ohhohohohohohoh, eheehehehheeeheeeheeheehee… Yeah. Anyway, humor isn’t something easy to pull off in games, well in general but especially in games. It’s done rarely and many times missed completely, which can leave a game feeling offensive or gross or stupid, well a lot of things. I don’t know what I’m going for with this. Join Alex and myself as we talk about humor in games, GTA 5, Puppeteer, Kingdom Hears 1.5 HD, Megamind, Walking Dead, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Anmesia: A Machine for Pigs, Outlast, Spartacus Legends, Magrunner, Medal of Honor and more on this episode of Greifed! Recorded on September 18th 2013.

Yeah, we know. It’s us. That’s why I used the old image. We are it, and we admit it! But there is a lot to this whole fanboy thing, though it all comes down to not wanting to admit we wasted money. Which we do all the time anyway, but we like to admit it on our own terms consarn it! Join Alex and myself as we discuss fanboyism in gaming and, well, life in general, as well as Killer is Dead, Spelunky Vita, Castle of Illusion HD, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Gone Home, Kentucky Route Zero Episode 2, Divekick, Limbo Vita, America’s Army: Proving Ground Beta, Burnout Paradise, La Mulana, Aliens: Colonial Marines and more on this episode of Griefed! Recorded on September 5th 2013.

That’s a bit of a cryptic title, eh? We went into this trying to figure out what the best year for this console generation was, and what we found by the end is that we just listed an insane number of games and decided upon nothing. Nothing except that 2009-2012 were some of the best years in video games so far. But why?? You’ll just have to listen to find out! Join Alex and myself as we discuss all of the years of this console generation, Saints Row 4, Killer is Dead, Gone Home, Divekick, Killzone Mercenary Beta, Spelunky Vita, Marvel Heroes, Tokyo Jungle, One Late Night, Shelter and more on this episode of Griefed! Recorded on August 28th 2013.

And we talk about Gamescom 2013 some too! Actually I think I need to change the tagging on the mp3 file…and done! Sorry this is a bit late, or maybe it isn’t. I actually can’t remember what day we put this out on anymore. Anyway… Join Alex and myself as we talk about the launch lineups for the PS4 and Xbox One, Gamescom 2013, Charlie Murder, Street Fighter X Tekken, Divekick, Saints Row IV, Gone Home, Final Fantasy xiv, The Bureau XCom Declassified and more on this episode of Griefed! Recorded on August 21st 2013.

Do they work or would we talk about them all the time even if we didn’t see ads all the time for games? Well, we’d still probably talk about them all the time, but the ads help some. Join Alex and myself as we talk about advertising, DuckTales: Remastered, Pikmin 3, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team, Dragon’s Crown, Teleglitch, Ibb & Obb, SMT 4, Sound Shapes, Sacred Citadel, Paper’s Please, Smite, Guncraft, Mirror Moon, Dream and more on this episode of Griefed! Recorded on August 14th 2013.

That’s right a second podcast this week! I really can’t believe I didn’t notice how long the site had been down. ANYWAY, when pitching this episode to me Alex described Sonic as “gaming’s abusive boyfriend” and that’s probably right. Join Alex and myself as we talk about gaming’s abusive boyfriend, Sonic the Hedgehog, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, Hotline Miami Vita, Eve Online, Sword of the Stars: The Pit, Bioshock: Infinite – Clash in the Clouds DLC, watching the Internationals, Shadowrun Returns, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, The Yawhg, Dokuro and more on this episode of Griefed! Recorded on August 7th 2013.

Round 1! Fight! The iconic words that still sends shivers down my spine, flashing back to tense moments in the arcade, 11 years old in the back of a now demolished Nathan’s, minding my business trying to enjoy some Street Fighter when some random hot-shot pulls up to the machine and drops a quarter in. Second player start. Join Alex and myself as we discuss our love and hatred of Fighting Games, as well as the closing of Maxwell’s in Hoboken, Shim Migami Tensai 4, Stealth Inc, spoil the Usual Suspects, Cloudberry Kingdom PS3 Edition, Jolly Rover, Leisure Suit Reloaded, Psychonauts, Shadowrun Returns, Testament of Sherlock Holmes, the Casablanca Blu-Ray, Eve Online, trading games on steam and more on this episode of Griefed! Recorded on July 31st 2013.

Woah! I’m super late posting this weeks podcast, this is the reason I’m terrible at time trial games. Well that’s not true, they’re pretty mutually exclusive, but it tells a story. A story of a man not so young any more, grasping at straws to stay afloat. Always late to the party, or LTTP as the kids says no a days. I always assume someone is talking about Link to the Past when they use that acronym, then I am always let down. Join Alex and myself as we discuss Achievements in games, Kentucky Route Zero, Kerbal Space Program, Stealth Inc, Euro Truck Simulator 2, StarForge, Natural Selection 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Zero Clash and more on this episode of Griefed! Recorded on July 23rd 2013.
