At the start of the 60's, social psychologist Stanley Milgram began work on an experiment to understand how so many Germans could have done such terrible things during World War II. Today we look at this experiment and how it tells us something uncomfortable about ourselves.

Every 16th June marks Bloomsday, the day when people in Ireland and around the world remember the life and work of James Joyce. Considered to be one of the greatest writers of all time, Joyce was born in Dublin and although he had a complicated relationship with Ireland, he wrote almost exclusively about the city of Dublin and its people.

Since the internet has become such an important part of most people's lives, conspiracy theories now seem to be everywhere. This seems especially true over the last year or two with numerous examples in many countries. But how are conspiracy theories created? Are they all different or are there similarities between them? It's important to understand how they work so that you can identify which stories are true and which are not.
