Just For Fun

Episode 73 is another week of random stories, fun facts, and somehow barely making it on time

I talk about going to see Dan + Shay, including the absolute chaos of sprinting for the train and somehow making it with ONE MINUTE TO SPARE. We also get into Fat Bear Week, the VMAs, and a pretty wild fun fact about clouds that you probably never knew.

From running through a train station like my life depended on it to ranking bears and learning things about clouds, this episode has a little bit of everything. Just another week of Just For Fun.

Episode 72 is packed with random conversations, fun facts, and questions that somehow lead us down some pretty ridiculous rabbit holes

We talk about Matt Wills’ new song “Home Run,” Oktoberfest, and some shows you should probably add to your watch list, including The Sex Lives of College Girls and The Jury Experience. We also get into random fun facts, wonder whether anyone actually won those legendary Zack & Cody giveaways, and ask the important question: does anyone actually win giveaways?!

There are A LOT of fun facts in this episode, a few things you probably never knew, and plenty of completely random conversations along the way. Basically, if you like learning something new and then immediately forgetting it five minutes later, this episode is for you.

Episode 71 is one of those episodes where we somehow manage to talk about everything and nothing at the same time😂

We start with Shaboozey’s new song, go down a rabbit hole about the most expensive vinyl records ever, and then get a little existential with one question: If you had a plaque, what would yours say? We also get into some fun facts about shows, random facts that you probably didn’t know you needed to know, and somehow end up learning about Nepal and why its flag is shaped completely differently from basically every other flag in the world 🇳🇵😂

Music, vinyl, random facts, questionable life plaques, and one very unique flag. Basically, another day at Just For Fun.

episode 70 is probably one of the most exciting episodes yet

This one is mostly about my AMAZING birthday weekend. We kicked things off with Happy Gilmore at Fenway, where we somehow got to actually go onto the field and experience Fenway in a way I never expected. It was absolutely incredible, and we had an absolute blast.

Then, on my actual birthday, we went to see Bruno Mars on The Romantic Tour and somehow ended up getting featured on a KISS 108 TikTok… so obviously we’re basically famous now.

A birthday weekend, Fenway Park, Bruno Mars, getting on TikTok, and a whole lot of good memories. Episode 70 is just me recapping one of the best weekends I've had in a long time.

Honestly… I might have peaked

Episode 69 is another one of those episodes where we somehow manage to cover a little bit of everything. We kick things off with go-to karaoke songs and what everyone would pick when the mic comes around. Then we get into the exciting news that Happy Gilmore is coming to Fenway—and the big question: is Adam Sandler actually going to be there? 👀 I also give my thoughts on Roommates and Don't Say Good Luck, two movies that gave me completely different reactions—one had me laughing and the other actually had me crying. And to finish things off, we get into some of the worst fantasy football punishments people have ever come up with. Music, movies, sports, karaoke, and questionable fantasy football decisions. Another classic Just For Fun.

I start things off with some wild Dolly Parton facts—from her dad paying the doctor who delivered her with food because the family was so poor, to the time Dolly entered a Dolly Parton lookalike contest and actually LOST. We also talk about how her fingernails helped create the iconic rhythm in “9 to 5,” why she sleeps in makeup, turning down Elvis Presley, and the connection between Dolly Parton and the world's most famous cloned sheep.

Then we get into New Music Friday, talk about some of the shows I've been watching, including Tires, Million Dollar Secret, The Maid, and Spinning Out, and go through what's currently on the playlist.

I also rank my top cities to live in, including Boston, Portland, Los Angeles/San Clemente, Nashville, Orlando, and New York, before comparing my list to some of the top cities according to Google.

Finally, I recap the week—Alyssa went back to school, I went to the beach, and we went pottery painting.

Episode 67 is a little more personal, with a mix of random conversations, a weekly recap, and some questions that might make you question reality.

I kick things off with a weekly recap, including making an epoxy table and what that process was like. Then I break down exactly what's in my coffee and get into a little "Get to Know Kyle" so you can learn more about the person behind the podcast.

From there, things get a little weird as I dive into one of the biggest questions about dreams: are dreams actually a portal to a different dimension? We explore the idea, where it comes from, and whether there could be more to dreaming than we realize.

A little DIY, a little coffee, a little getting to know me, and a whole lot of questioning reality.

Just For Fun.

Episode 66 is another laid-back episode filled with random conversations, interesting facts, and a few thoughts that sent me down some unexpected rabbit holes.

I kick things off with a weekly recap before getting into another Riddle Me This, some new music, and a conversation about what it would be like to become someone from the past. We also dive into some fascinating facts about stars and, as always, bounce around to whatever else came to mind.

It's a little bit of everything—music, history, space, riddles, and random thoughts—all packed into one episode.

Just another week of Just For Fun.

Episode 65 is another fun mix of music, movies, debates, and completely random conversations.

I kick things off with a weekly recap, including thoughts on the live-action Moana and some of the best new music that's been released. Then we dive into the Billboard Top 35 artists (as of August 7th) and see who's dominating the music world right now.

We also tackle one of my favorite riddles yet before getting into a surprisingly heated debate: if you could become any famous person for a day, who would you choose? To wrap things up, we answer one of the most important questions of all... who is the coolest penguin in movie history?

As always, it's a laid-back conversation full of laughs, random opinions, and whatever came to mind. Just for fun.

Episode 64 starts with a simple question that turns into a surprisingly deep conversation: is my version of the color blue the same as yours? We dive into the fascinating idea of how everyone experiences the world differently and whether we'll ever know if we're actually seeing the same colors.

I also break down the top 10 statistically favorite colors around the world, share some surprisingly interesting beaver facts, bring back another round of Riddle Me This, and catch you up with a weekly recap of everything that's been going on.

From deep thoughts to random facts, Episode 64 is another classic Just For Fun conversation that goes wherever curiosity takes us.
