Just Getting Started

Greetings, I’m running out of normal ways to say hello so let’s see what’s to come. This week I sat down with designer & branding-lover Maggie Snead! Listen to the pod if you’re curious how she transitioned from ministry to designing, what it’s been like learning the Adobe suite from scratch, & why she thinks I should be a cat person (AKA our catfight). #DogsRuleCatsDrool

Hiya, welcome back to another week yet we are still "Just Getting Started"! This week I sat down with the wonderfully groovy Delaun Anderson, an art director (& good bit designer if my vote counts for anything) here at the Creative Circus. Listen up to hear about his dreams of designing for pop music artists, how he crazily plans his life years in advance, & how the Creative Circus wrecked those plans for the better!

Herrrro, welcome to another wild episode (especially wild this time because I was on a whole other energy level that day) of JGS! This week I interviewed our FIRST photographer, Gaffney Taylor! Come listen to hear how fed up I am over someone stealing her plexiglass (again, I was overtly hyped), what she does prior to photoshoots, and what a strong person she is for how she has coped with her mom passing away during her third quarter. (Hope my past guest aren't mad about me breaking my square-ratio-one-image-only rule this cover with these beautiful photographs by Gaffney herself.)

Welcome back and happy 2020! I am resurfacing from my momentary JGS hiatus & in that the Circus is coming back to life as well. It's a new year & I have a lot in store for this podcast, so to kick it all off I interviewed Taylor Hagin, an eighth quarter copywriter & my scratchy voice #goalz. Tune in to hear how she implements problem-solution thinking into her creative work, the impact her brother's accident had on her life, & why she might just be a glorified pyromaniac!
