  • Two more pregnancies, two more miscarriages - Our pregnancy & infant loss story Part 4
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, so we decided to record a 4 part series to share our own personal story.
Since 2016, we (Rosie & Jeremie) have had 4 pregnancies, all of which ended with a loss. All 4 of them were very different in many ways but ultimately had the same result.
The 4th & final part of this special series. Moving to Miami has been really good for us, and after a few months, we emotionally recovered. Life was good, and after a while, we felt we were both ready to try again.
However, things didn't go as planned. In November 2019, Rosie had a miscarriage whilst on vacation in Cuba, then again in April 2020, Rosie had a missed miscarriage during Lockdown & Covid. These were both totally different from each other and also very different from the 1st one.
Grab onto your tissues for this final part.

  • The aftermath of the abortion: suicidal thoughts, depression, triggers - Our pregnancy & infant loss story Part 3
During this 3rd episode of the series, we cover the funeral & the months after the abortion. Dealing with depression, having suicidal thoughts, going back to work, seeing friends having kids, etc.
Once again, we both dealt with the aftermath in totally different ways. So we both share our experiences, feelings & emotions.
We also take time to talk about all the triggers, the reminders in our society that constantly remind us about what happened. A lot of little things you only notice when such a tragedy happens to you.
Once again, thank you for listening, grab some tissues and listen to our story.

  • Going through an abortion - Our pregnancy & infant loss story Part 2
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, so we decided to record a 4 part series to share our own personal story.
Since 2016, we (Rosie & Jeremie) have had 4 pregnancies, all of which ended with a loss. All 4 of them were very different in many ways but ultimately had the same result.
In this 2nd part, we focus on the abortion itself. We go into detail about what actually happened on the day and how it happened. We do our best to describe how it felt and what was going on, physically & emotionally. Both Jeremie & Rosie experienced the exact same thing, but had very different experiences and in this episode we talk about how it felt for both of us in this situation. We discuss the differences between being the woman physically having the abortion and the man watching his wife have an abortion. It's a complex topic but we tried our best to be as open and honest as possible.
We also share about the days after, planning the funeral, going home, dealing with family, and the day of the funeral too.
Grab some tissues and listen to our story.

  • Our 1st miscarriage & deciding to have an abortion - Our pregnancy & infant loss story Part 1
In this first part, we go through the first 2 pregnancies. Our first experience was an early miscarriage at 5 weeks. Then a few months later, while we were pregnant again we found out that our baby boy had a rare genetic disorder. We had to make the heartbreaking choice to end the pregnancy and have a late-term abortion at 26 weeks.

  • Iking Davis: cut off from the outside world for 19 years
Iking didn’t have a typical upbringing. At the age of 3, his stepdad moved in with his mom & siblings and that’s when things changed forever.
He was taken out of school, was forced to move and leave the rest of his family behind. Then for the next 19 years of his life, he was kept inside to “protect him” from dangerous people outside.
At the age of 22, he left this toxic environment to start his life with a brand new chapter.
Iking discusses openly & honestly about growing up with an abusive & controlling parental figure, how he taught himself from his room and how his life is so vastly different now.
It’s an incredible story of resilience, bravery and hope.
