We have Netflix, Disney+, HBOMAX, Hulu, Peacock, Parammmount+, Shudder and AppleTV+. And we are giving all of you 3 Titles (Movie or TV Show) that we think are WAY GOOD and think y'all should put on your radars, if you haven't already done so.

Mixed with random shenanigans, side conversations and just... Juice bein... Juicy there won't be a part in this episode where you don't think... "What are we doing here again?"

  • With Villeneuve's Movies

This week, we're going to dive into 5 of Denis Villeneuve's Films that leave us crying and begging for more, to get us as ready as we can be for his new Highly Anticipated Film, Dune.

Not knowing any of the Film's lore, and having not read the book at all, all I can do to prepare, is to watch all of his movies and try to get a feel for his directing style and watch the first 5 movies that came to my mind as a lead up to this Film.

We will start with Prisoners (2013), then go to Enemy (2013). Then we will touch on Sicario, then Arrival and then finish off with Blade Runner 2049. Will these films be enough to seal the deal on me watching Dune? Is Villeneuve the MOST AMBIGUOUS Director working today? These questions and a few others are answered throughout this episode. Give a listen and get yourself ready for DUNE and as always..... Thank you for, Just Juicin' Around.

  • With Batman Shane & Indiana Jones

In this week's episode we have Shane Bierley (aka: Batman Shane) with us again for a fourth time, but this time we're not talking Batman, but Indiana Jones. Frequent listeners of this show and the "Mad About Movies Podcast" know, that as much as Shane and Myself are Batman Fans, we are also huge fans of Indiana Jones. These listeners also know that Shane currently holds a job in the film industry, working for Paramount Pictures. With the 4K remaster release of the 4 films from a few months back, Shane along with a whole team with him at Paramount, had the greatest endeavor of working on this exact release. So, this week we're gonna dive in and dissect (as much and as best as we can) all four movies of Indiana Jones, find out what we like and don't like, as well as ask Shane just what exactly he and his team worked on for this release and what other responsibilities he and his team have over in the life of Hollywood. It's certainly a fun time and a very interesting conversation for any and all Movie Lovers so hop on in, get your cup of coffee ready, turn on your favorite Indiana Jones Film and join us as we "Just Juice Around" with Batman Shane and Indiana Jones.

  • With Robert on Shang-Chi (SPOILERS)

Welcome! to yet another random episode of Just Juicin’ Around. On today’s episode we got another Movie Review on our hands and of course it’s that newest MCU film on the block! Of course, we can do this alone, so with us on this wild ride, we have very good friend of the show and 2nd time guest Robert Klauser!!

Having seen the Film twice and coming out fresh from guesting on our friend Alex’s Show “Comics and Cinema” I had to build the strength and courage to ask him to grace us with his presence and do another Deep Spoiler Dive into this fantastic piece of MCU Cinema. Did we both go see this IMAX? Did this film go above and beyond it’s promise in giving us something we have never seen before? Is this one of the greatest MCU movies to date? These questions and more are all touched upon as Robert and myself… Just Juice Around with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Thanks for listening! and have fun with this background music!

  • With a Marvelous Question
This week we have two very special guests joining us! From two separate Discord Servers!!! From the MCU Fan Show Podcast's Discord Server we have recurring guest Anthony Lawrey back with us! And from the Mad About Movies Podcast's Discord Server we have friend of the show Austin Melton (aka SuperheroJunkie!!!). Access to both of these FANTASTIC Discord Servers, if you are not in on the action already, can be found on each of the Podcast's (mentioned above) Feeds pages wherever you receive your feeds from.
Today we discuss IN FULL SPOILERY DETAIL the first four episodes of Marvel Studios' brand new Animated Hit Series, What If...? which have made their way to Disney+ and will continue to do so with six more that have yet to come! We go in on what we like/love so far, as well really dive into what we really don't like of it so far. Do we each have something that just doesn't fit well with us? Do I still make myself look like a fool on my own show? Will we be back for the last 6 episodes once the Finale drops in a few weeks? These questions and more are answered in full throughout this very fun and MARVELOUSLY entertaining episode of... Just Juicin' Around!!

  • With Some Streaming Recommendations

This week/weekend I'm coming at you with a few recommendations on what to watch on four different Streaming Platforms. Over on Disney+ we have a great remake/reboot series that is vey new and still barking out some episodes, Turner & Hooch. Over on HBOMAX we have a Throwback Series that I haven't seen in a long time, but just stayed as clever and fun as I remember watching it for the first time, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Swinging over to Paramount+ we have a HUGE back-catalog of Movies and Shows but the show I recommend to you is anyone who loves Star Trek, Star Trek: Lower Decks. The jokes and cameos are as outrageous as the tribbles are cuddly. And finally, on Peacock I tell you all about a very cool and very soap opera-ie adventure show that premiered literally over 20 years ago and I dare say, it STILL HOLDS UP. Give this a listen and find out what exactly that final show is.

Thank you all for listening and stay tuned for some Marvel's What If...? talk happening very soon. Until then we're...

  • With Task Force X and an Honorable Quest
In this week's episode we are Juicin' Around with James Gunn's newest Comic Movie set over in the DC Universe, "The Suicide Squad". Being one of two Directors to move from Marvel to DC, and being the 1 and only ONE to do it SUCCESSFULLY, we are going to dive in and try to figure out what exactly is so AMAZING in this film. Having rated it a SOLID 5 stars, it was definitely what I wanted all along.
And in the second part we dive into a very morally and ethically pondering film distributed by the Highly Popular Distribution Company, A24; David Lowery's The Green Knight. Being a HUGE fan of A24's films, this one is just as good and it's not one for those who are looking for a Game of Thrones-esc Film. We'll dive in and make sure you know what you're getting into before watching it.
Thanks for listening and stay tuned for later episodes of "Just Juicin' Around" that are sure to be 100% JUICY.

  • With Our Favorite Horror Movies

On this horrifyingly fun episode of Just Juicin' Around, we are joined by two new faces and very good friends of the Show, Jaylynn Schubauer and Anthony Lawrey!!! Today we have a different theme for the episode where we each go around the room giving our Top 10 Favorite Horror Movies of all time, you all have a hint as to what one of them might be for me, as we did cover one of these films a few episodes back with friend of show Pablo, but the rest is a mystery for you guys to solve!

Liking/Loving Horror Movies is all subjective based on the perception of the film to the viewer, which helps make this a very unique and entertaining conversation. Do I make a fool of myself every time I speak? Are Jaylynn and Anthony possibly giving me a run for my money as "Host"? And (if you listen for it), could Andy Muschietti and Steve Buscemi be related (in my own head cannon)? All these questions and more are touched on inside this Gory (pretty explicit) Episode. Give us a listen and check out each of our Top 10 Rankings over on Letterboxd (links down below).

Make sure to tune in next week for that HIGHLY ANTICIPATED Retrospective Review of the Indiana Jones 4K Collection with our good friend Batman Shane! Until then we're... Just Juicin' Around.
