On episode 22, the Brudda's welcomed their first head coach to the show: C.B. Aycock head football coach Steve Brooks. Coach Brooks kept it real on this episode as we talked about the Golden Falcons' 2019 season (they went 7-5 and went to the first round of the state playoffs, the NCHSAA East Regional championships taking place on Friday, and many other topics. Kai asked him the burning question of why Brook hasn't gone back to his roots in Onslow County, the support from the CBA community, and his love for the game of golf. On episode 21, the Brudda's welcomed Jay Anderson from Bucket Reel, Big Shots, and Prep Hoops NC. Jay talked about his start at Virginia Tech as a basketball manager, his move to North Carolina and everything in between. On the newest episode of the Just Like Bruddas Podcast, the Bruddas went LIVE for the first time in the history of the show. Kai and Laieke were on site at Princeton High School ahead of the huge rivalry game between the Bulldogs and the Rosewood Eagles. The Carolina 1-A conference championship will be on the line when Robert Britt the Eagles (9-1) travel down US HWY. 70 to take on Travis Gaster and the undefeated Bulldogs (9-0). We welcomed Andrew Stevens and Averil Williams from WBGR (98.3 FM on your radio dial) to talk about this contest and all of the other games taking place in Wayne County. We interviewed them and they interviewed us making for what was an excellent show!
