We need to normalise not having it all figured out at 30. Especially as young black professionals, there are so many complexities and hurdles we go through in our 20s that make it difficult to have all our ducks in a row at 30.

This episode is close to my heart, it is the most important thing about me that I feel I often leave out in many introductions! I am a child of God, saved by the grace of Jesus Christ who died for my sins on the cross♥️

The first quarter has ended and Q2 is upon us. In this episode I share about my experience of Q1 and how the expectations I had of this year are going so far. It’s a bitter-sweet feeling honestly because there have already been some Ls amongst the wins!

It’s very important to ensure that you keep your cup full in this journey of life because we are in a marathon and you need the stamina to keep going. Putting yourself and being kind to yourself can go a long way and can save you from hitting a slump/burning out. In this episode I share how I pour into myself on a daily and you should too.

This is a life lately apartment, my sister and I found what I can definitely call our ideal space to live in. We’re so excited to be furnishing the space and decorating it after living in a pre-furnished apartment that never felt like home. I’m so grateful to be doing life with my sister and just cherishing all of this while it lasts!

The year of doing it right is upon us and I am so excited for the challenge and the beautiful journey that is 2024. Let’s get our heads and hearts right and resolutions in! Let’s be accountable and respect ourselves enough to show up for ourselves more!

Acknowledging the parts of you that need work is not always easy especially if you look at it against everything else that you are doing right, but it’s important nonetheless to look at yourself as a constant WIP because no one is perfect and we live and learn daily.

Having too many balls in the air can lead to you not performing at your best. Prioritising what matters, resting, trusting and leaning on God can help a great deal.

I think I speak for many when I say Adulting is the pits! This has a direct impact on our friendships and can often cause a huge strain because we’re all going through it and are in the thick of it! We’re tired and have no capacity for our little tribes! Should we be feeling bad? Or should we extend grace to ourselves?
