Just Over The Fence

Cody Carbone has been making music for as long as he can remember. It's been six years since he joined the legendary Denver band "Hazel Miller & The Collective". 

Cody joins us this month to talk about the day he met Hazel (while performing for a crowd of 120,000 in downtown Denver), his first gig (he was eight years old), and coming back from a hand injury (it turned out OK... Cody's surgeon and his guitar have the same name: Fender!). Plus, Cody plays a few tunes for us.

We love Hazel Miller. And she ended up in Colorado by accident! In 1984 she was moving her family from Kentucky to California when her rental truck broke down in Denver. What was originally going to be just a few days in Colorado has turned into a legendary three-and-a-half decade career. This time on Just Over The Fence, Hazel talks about her life and career, shares some wisdom she's picked up along the way, and sings a few songs for us.
