What if God isn’t withholding what you’ve been praying for—what if He’s preparing you for it? 🤍
In this episode of Just Uhh Thought, I’m talking about what it really means to grow in a waiting season. Sometimes we’re so focused on asking God “When?” that we forget to ask “What?” What is He trying to grow, heal, develop, or teach us before we step into what’s next?
Whether you’re waiting on a new opportunity, career, relationship, marriage, financial breakthrough, or simply a new season of life, this is your reminder that waiting doesn’t mean you’ve been forgotten. There may still be work happening in you while you’re waiting for what’s ahead.
I’m also sharing a personal story about my previous job, what I thought God was asking me to learn there, how I tried to take control of the situation, and what I eventually realized about waiting on God instead of trying to rush His timeline.
If you’re in a waiting season right now, I hope this episode reminds you: you don’t have to rush the process. Let yourself grow while you wait.

Through obedience, God didn't just restore my podcast—He restored my passion, renewed my confidence, and reminded me that our gifts are meant to glorify Him.

What do you do when God leads you into a season you never expected?
When you know He spoke, but your current reality doesn’t look anything like the promise?
In this episode of Just Uhh Thought, I’m sharing honestly about navigating a season of transition — learning how to trust God when life feels uncertain, uncomfortable, and unfamiliar.
Transition is the space between hearing God’s promise and actually walking into it. It’s the place where questions start to rise:
Did I really hear God?
Am I on the right path?
Should I go back to what feels safe?
In this conversation, I reflect on what this season has revealed about my faith, my dependence on God, and the ways I’ve learned to cope with disappointment. I share how stepping away from familiar comforts has challenged me to trust God in a deeper way — not because He is taking things away to hurt me, but because He is inviting me back into full dependence on Him.
We’ll talk about:
• Navigating seasons of transition and uncertainty
• Trusting God when His promises don’t match your circumstances
• The difference between comfort and true dependence on God
• How disappointment can cause us to protect ourselves from hope
• Recognizing God’s reassurance in seasons of waiting
• Returning to a posture of prayer, patience, and trust
• What it means to have full hope that God remembers you
Romans 12:12 says:
“Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.”
If you’re currently in a season of waiting, change, rebuilding, or uncertainty, I hope this episode reminds you that the in-between is not wasted. God is still working, still present, and still faithful.

In this episode, I get real about something I used to struggle with: prayer. For a long time, my prayer life felt inconsistent, awkward, and even pointless. I often wondered if God even heard me—and when I didn’t see answers, discouragement took over.
But this year, God has shifted my perspective in powerful ways. I’ve learned that prayer isn’t about begging—it’s about trust, surrender, and relationship. And the truth is: He hears us the very first time we pray.
Together we’ll walk through Daniel 10, unpack how spiritual battles can delay answers without silencing God’s ear, and I’ll share practical prayer strategies for the seasons when you’re still waiting.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your prayers really matter, this episode will encourage you.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
•Why prayer often feels intimidating or “pointless”
•The danger of approaching prayer with a begging mindset
•Encouragement from Daniel 10 and the angel’s message to Daniel
•7 practical strategies to strengthen your prayer life (adoration, praying God’s Word, spiritual warfare, surrender, wisdom, development, and gratitude)
•How to trust God while waiting for answers
Scripture References:
•1 Peter 3:12
•Daniel 10
Takeaway:
You are not a beggar—you are a child of God. Your prayers are heard, and even in the waiting, He is working.

What makes us settle for less than God’s best? Is it fear of being overlooked, or the belief that we don’t deserve more? In this episode, I’m digging into the subtle ways we pick up this mindset and how it quietly shapes our decisions.
We’ll talk about the patterns and experiences that feed these beliefs, the ways we try to control outcomes, and how that control often leads to disappointment. Through scripture, especially the story of the prodigal son, we’ll uncover the truth about God’s heart for us—His love, provision, and desire for us to live in His best.
I’ll also share practical tips for recognizing when you’re settling, trusting God’s will, and embracing the life He’s preparing for you.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re truly deserving of more, this episode is for you. Let’s remind our hearts of the truth: we are worthy of God’s best.
