Getting older comes with a few more aches, pains, strange noises, and trips to the medicine cabinet. But that doesn't mean we're slowing down! We talk about injuries, old remedies, doctor visits, and the little surprises that come with keeping ourselves running while staying active and enjoying life.
Before Season 2 gets underway, we're taking a quick trip back through Season 1! Mark, Peter, and Steve each introduce a clip from one of our first 10 episodes, highlighting a few of the conversations, laughs, and unexpected moments that make JustFU what it is. It's a little taste of what you've been missing—and what's still to come.
JustFU Season 2 starts November 4. Just For Us. But you're welcome to listen.
Remember when shopping meant getting in the car and heading to the mall? Before online shopping, one-click buying, and packages showing up on your doorstep, shopping was an entirely different experience. In this JustFU episode, the guys take a trip down memory lane and compare how we shopped then vs. how we shop now.
From department stores and shopping malls to auctions, catalogs, online buying, and the things we buy just because we can, the guys talk about how shopping has changed—and what we've gained, lost, and maybe don't miss at all.
Expect plenty of stories, opinions, nostalgia, and a few observations about why we apparently needed an entire mall to buy something we can now order from the couch.
Everyone has them. Some are minor annoyances. Others can ruin an entire day. In this JustFU episode, the guys reveal the everyday habits, social behaviors, and strange situations that drive them absolutely crazy. Count how many times Steve asks, “What’s that all about?” And decide for yourself whether Mark really threw his wife under the bus.
From everyday frustrations and relationship gripes to the little social behaviors that get under our skin, the guys compare notes on the things that make them wonder, “Why does that bother me so much?” Expect plenty of laughs, strong opinions, and probably a few pet peeves you recognize in yourself.
Family vacations have a way of creating memories that last forever. Sometimes they're the memories you hoped for. Sometimes they're the stories you can't believe actually happened. And once the kids grow up, family travel can take on a whole new meaning.
In this JustFU episode, Mark, Peter, and Steve swap stories about family vacations, travel adventures, family traditions, and the joys—and frustrations—of trying to get everyone together. They also talk about the transition from planning trips around the kids to figuring out what an empty-nest vacation looks like.
From memorable destinations and family travel stories to the things that don't quite go according to plan, it's a funny look at vacations, adult children, and the adventures that happen along the way.
Food has a funny way of bringing back memories. One bite of something you haven't had in years can take you right back to a place, a time, or a favorite meal. And when you're hungry, sometimes the only thing that matters is figuring out what you're going to eat.
In this JustFU episode, the guys talk about food—the things they love to eat, the things they probably shouldn't eat, and the eating habits they've developed over the years. They get into fast food memories, favorite foods, food obsessions, and how our relationship with food changes as we get older.
From the foods we grew up with to the fast-food experiences we still remember, it's a funny look at food, memories, cravings, and the simple fact that sometimes the best conversations start with, "What do you want to eat?"
There are few things that bring out strong opinions, questionable advice, and great stories quite like a round of golf. Whether you're a serious golfer, a weekend player, or someone who mostly enjoys the 19th hole, there's always something to talk about.
In this JustFU episode, the guys talk about golf, the friendships built around the game, and the things that make spending a day on the course such a unique experience. They share golf stories, talk about the traditions and frustrations that come with the game, and compare notes on what happens when three friends get together to play a little golf and have a lot to say about it.
From good shots to bad decisions, friendly competition to the occasional excuse, it's a funny look at golf, friendship, and life on the course.
We've all been there. The driver going too slow. The driver going too fast. The person who doesn't seem to know which lane they're supposed to be in. And then there's the person sitting beside you who has plenty of advice about how you should be driving.
In this JustFU episode, Mark, Peter, and Steve talk about driving habits, road rage, traffic frustrations, road trips, and the things that can turn an otherwise peaceful ride into an adventure. We share stories about our own driving habits, the habits of our spouses, and the unwritten rules of the road that seem to drive everyone crazy.
From the passenger seat to the driver's seat, there's plenty to agree—and disagree—about. Buckle up for a ride filled with laughs, opinions, frustrations, and stories that might sound surprisingly familiar.
Some people jump out of bed ready to take on the day. Others need coffee, a little quiet time, and a carefully established routine before they're ready to interact with the world. And as we get older, those routines seem to become more important—and sometimes a lot more complicated.
In this JustFU episode, the guys talk about aging, daily habits, morning routines, and the things they've come to depend on over the years. From coffee and breakfast to exercise, medications, technology, and the little rituals that somehow become part of everyday life, they compare notes on what gets them through the day.
It's a funny look at the routines we develop, the things we can't seem to live without, and the sometimes ridiculous reality of getting older.
What makes someone a great party guest? More importantly, what makes someone a terrible one? From beach gatherings and backyard cookouts to neighborhood celebrations and the social situations that can bring out the best—and funniest—in all of us, there are plenty of unwritten rules when people get together.
In this JustFU episode, Mark, Peter, and Steve swap stories about party etiquette, social expectations, memorable gatherings, and the moments when things don't quite go according to plan. From the guest who overstays their welcome to the host who takes things a little too seriously, the guys compare notes on the behaviors that make us laugh, cringe, or wonder what someone was thinking.
Expect plenty of stories, strong opinions, and a few social fails along the way. Because when it comes to getting together, sometimes the funniest part of the party is what happens when nobody follows the rules.

Welcome to JustFU - short for Just For Us - not what you were thinking, huh?
JustFU is three longtime friends in their 60s talking about life, the way they've come to see it, and the things that make them laugh along the way. Mark, Peter, and Steve swap stories, share opinions, bust each other's chops, and occasionally wonder how the hell they got here.
Recorded in a garage studio on the North Carolina coast, the guys talk about marriage, family, aging, work, friendships, childhood, travel, and all the other stuff that makes up a life. Some stories are funny. Some are ridiculous. Some may even sound familiar.
JustFU isn't about preaching, politics, religion, or telling anyone how to live. It's simply three friends looking back, looking around, and having a good time doing it.
Come listen, laugh, and hang out with us.
