THIS IS THE BIG ONE!!!  Join Ted, Mike, Alex, and Matt as e begin our latest and greatest podcast show yet!  A weekly index series covering each and every chapter in the sizzling hot 2017-2018 DC Comics crossover event METAL!!!

This time the crew takes on 2017's Dark Days: The Forge #1, by Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV (writers), Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, and John Romita Jr. (pencil artists), Scott Williams, Klaus Janson, and Danny Miki (ink artists), Alex Sinclair and Jeremiah Skipper (color artists), Steve Wands (letterer), and Mark Doyle (editor).  This issue features Hawkman, Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, the Signal, the Immortal Man, Mister Terrific, Mister Miracle, and of course the Dark Knight himself, BATMAN!

Are you ready for another journey into terror with the KILL-vingtons?  Charlotte & Ted bring to you a full-length commentary on 1932's "THE OLD DARK HOUSE", directed by James Whale and starring Boris ("Frankenstein") Karloff, Melvyn ("Hud") Howard, Charles ("Mutiny on the Bounty") Laughton, and Gloria ("Titanic") Stuart.

Ted & Matt chew on "Blood of the Manta" from 2017's Teen Titans #9-#11.  A great story by Ben Percy, Phil Hester, Khoi Pham, Trevor Scott, Craig Yeung, Pop Mhan, and Jim Charalampidis, where the villain Black Manta has dark plans for Jackson Hyde, and the young Titans must help their newest member.

Matt & Ted discuss 1992's Justice League International Quarterly #7, with four fabulous stories - well, that's going too far - four stories about the superhero misfits.  First, aliens hijack Blue Beetle's high-school reunion in "Klaarsh Reunion!" by Michael Jan Friedman & Eduardo Barreto.  Then General Glory stars in a 1960s homage by Paul Kupperberg & Don Heck.  Next, Rocket Red visits relatives in post-Soviet  Ukraine in a story by Pat McGreal & Mike Vosburg.  Finally Kevin Dooley and Andy Smith show how Rising Sun asks Doctor Light on a date.  Come join the fun!

Can discussions of English art history and superheroes work in the same story?  Find out as Ted & Matt take on the Deconstructo storyline from 1992's Justice League Europe #37-#39, with pencil art by Ron Randall, ink art by Randy Elliott, Carlos Garzon, and Romeo Tanghal, and a script by a writer better left unmentioned.

Join Ted & Mike for a nostalgic discussion of "Menace of the Atom Bomb" from 1962's Justice League of America #14 by Gardner Fox, Mike Sekowsky, and Bernard Sachs.  In this issue the JLA is joined by no less than Ray Palmer, the Tiny Titan himself, the one, the only - well, at least on that Earth, at that time - the ATOM!

Buckle up campers, Ted Kilvington & Matt Henderson are taking you on a ride!  First up we have 2017's "Fear Itself" from Justice League #23, a done-in-one story by Tom DeFalco, Tom Derenick, Tony Kordos, and Adriano Lucas.  This is followed by our take on 2017's "Curse of the Kingbutcher" from Justice League of America #9 & #10, by Steve Orlando, Andy MacDonald, Neil Edwards, Sandu Florea, and Hi-Fi.  Find out why we think these are some of the best Justice League stories of the Rebirth era!

Ted and Alex discuss "The Riddle of the Robot Justice League!" from 1962's Justice League of America #13, by Gardner Fox, Mike Sekowsky, and Bernard Sachs.  The JLA battle android counterparts of themselves to save a universe!

Ted and Charlotte KILLvington are joined by the Casket Apprentice, Mike Wellman, as they take on 1982's "The Beast Within", about a young human-monster half-breed.  The film stars Ronny Cox, Bibi Besch, Paul Clemens, R.G. Armstrong, Logan Ramsey, and Meschach Taylor and was directed by Philippe Mora.
