We do a photo shoot with Ben Roberts in the morning. In the afternoon, I prune our persimmon trees just before they come out of dormancy.

As spring is quickly approaching, we all work together to establish our crop garden next to our greenhouse. We use our broadfork to reduce compaction and aerate the soil.

Our gilt is getting ready to transition into becoming a sow. She is about to farrow her first litter of pigs and we have to prepare in order to give her the best birthing experience.

We add mulch from the chicken run to the raised bed and plant our broccoli starts to mark the beginning of our winter 2022 garden! Afterward, we visit the folks who started everything for us... the folks who gave us our first chickens.
