Dr. Payal Sud is the Associate Chairperson for Emergency Medicine at Glen Cove Hospital, a part of the Northwell Health System. Her focus includes Operations and Quality Improvement. Previously, she has served as the Associate Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at LIJMC, where she helped create the new Hofstra-Northwell EM Residency at Zucker School of Medicine.
Additionally, Dr. Sud is a practicing Medical Toxicologist, intimately involved in the Medical Toxicology Fellowship. She has published and presented in several medical journals, textbooks, and at national conferences. She has also been featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, Health Day, Medscape video interview and News 12 Long Island. Her focus now is ensuring that the public, patients, and healthcare workers are well-informed and safe from COVID-19.
