Mudita talks about the recent rape case in Australian Parliament, not just one incident either. According to news accounts, Australian parliamentary culture has a history of bullying women, just think of Julia Gillard for example. People are out in the streets protesting, saying.. Enough is Enough.. Mudita connects that with her own experiences of sexual abuse in the army. She then talks about the healing work that she does with women, healing the inner child with love and toning, a system of sounding musical tones.. that results in shifts of attention, awareness, and consciousness.

Liilavati is sharing her life experiences and wisdom on this day before her birthday. Having had an amazing life amongst the stars, she also speaks about the hard times as well. Having suffered from depression she says "kiirtan just lifts me.... we do have to have those conversations about the hard stuff" and being a meditator she says, "We have to have something that we can turn to" and there are many more jewels in this podcast.....I end with a song I wrote called Lily and the Moon recorded in the 90's, with lyrics that reflect Liilavati's words.

But last night we pulled it off giving all of our hearts, minds and soul's into it.  We were six musicians, one videographer, one sound man, one baby sitter, one speaker, two as our audience and everyone working together to make it happen. The online audience was from all over the globe, and much support was received for our new educational projects at Sunrise. Thank you very much for all your very generous donations. Kiirtan is a subtle science and there's a depth of musical thought, intuition and science that goes into creating a successful sequence. This is something we are doing now as we prepare for the Kiirtan concert on Saturday and the launch of Avarta Kiirtan III at Sunrise. Inga is a brilliant classically trained violinist, yet in her free time she listens only to Kiirtan. She talks about her musical background, her tough musical training and her innovative approach to violin in the entertainment industry. During lockdown she has set up her own studio for live streaming as well her own academy called Strings Academy Online. She gains inspiration from her favourite Kiirtan artists.
