In this chapter, we learn that our Black men are systematically taught to disown themselves and the Black family. Sister Ali makes it clear that not only is he to relearn new information but that he should also teach his offspring. Our Black men are responsible for teaching our sons. It is his natural right as a man. We are Kiva & Kahawia and we are here to support our Black men.

This chapter is entitled, "Communication" and we gain a deeper understanding of the lying lips on some of our brothers. Keep in mind that we are doing this work to bring about change within ourselves and our nation. In doing so, we are going to call it like it is.
