David Waldman and Greg Dworkin know that talking about a sex scandal is a good way to get our love button tapped, so sidle over here and let’s tell you about the latest: Tennessee Republican Mark Green celebrated 30 years of marriage with his girlfriend who was around 2 years old on his first anniversary. Sure, Green is running for reelection, but that won’t be his voter’s biggest cognitive hurdle. Look at that other Mark, Mark Robinson in North Carolina… Ok, you might want to avert your eyes… Robinson’s staff have just noticed that Mark is a creep and have determined that their standards are simply too high to remain in his employ. Donald Trump hasn’t yet noticed anything particularly weird about Robinson, Mark seems pretty normal to him. Jack, the “brains” of that “Burke and Hare” of American politics known as Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, has taken over as Robinson’s Campaign Manager… Shhh! don’t tell the Robinson campaign!
And yet… and yet, experts tell us that the election remains undecided and might remain so for weeks! In the meantime, we can look at polls. Kamala Harris continues to trend well in many categories in many polls. There might be a few polls and categories Trump leads a bit in, but why be overly concerned? It’s fun to know that he reads his bad polls too. Trends and vibes continue to work in Kamala’s direction, and who would expect any surprises this October?
It is now time to worry about Republican November surprises in the works. Georgia plans to kill voting, no matter how much money and time it takes. Instead of Georgia, this time Lindsay Graham leads his delegation to Nevada. Maine might not be able to save us this time.
