Kamala Harris has ruled out running for California governor in 2026, according to The New York Times. After losing to President Donald Trump in 2024, Harris returned to Los Angeles and quietly explored a gubernatorial bid but showed little interest in launching a campaign. She plans to support Democratic candidates nationwide while leaving open the possibility of a 2028 presidential run.
