Kansas House District 107 has been uncontested by Democrats since 2006. There is a debate over whether Cheri Koochel is brave or crazy to run as a Democrat there; I believe it is the former. Not only is she running, but doing so via a grassroots campaign supported by individual donors, a team of young volunteers, and a whole lot of shoe leather.Every day, she works to connect with and listen to the voters of Kansas House District 107, and I feel confident that she will continue when she wins. She knows I will be the first to push back if she doesn’t.
