Hour 2:  Kap & Silvy discussed the Bears having caught a serious case of the injury bug, and it's all over the field. Burden goes down with a groin injury, expected to miss "a little bit of time." Tyrique Stevenson battled through injury, Cam Lewis, Montez Sweat, Braxton Jones, Jaylon Jones, D'Marco Jackson, Terell Smith and of course Coby Bryant and Kyler Gordon all missing from practice. Silvy's Notebook: Downtown Dean update, Caleb Williams and Bears Camp News, should the Bears play Caleb Williams in the pre-season? Silvy was in for J. Hood.

Hour 1:  Kap & Silvy discussed the Cubs do their job, take two of three from the Royals. Unfortunately, Brewers stay in lockstep, and the division lead stays at 5.5. Both cubs and brewers are 7-3 in their last 10. Is it that important for the Cubs to come back and win the division or is your focus getting to October and winning there? White Sox give their fan base a sigh of relief, take the last two against the Guards--Davis Martin was kind of saved by the rain…Rest of the AL Central is on their tails as the Tigers seem to finally be what everyone thought they might be in March. Do the Sox have a consistency problem, or is it just a stretch where they haven't played their best? Silvy was in for J. Hood.

Hour 2:  MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.  Kap & J. Hood discussed Jon Heyman says that PCA isn't worthy of MVP of Ohtani, because 'Somehow WAR is overrating centerfielders' and does NOT go on to explain why WAR would be overrating centerfielders. White Sox and Red Sox; the Chase Meidroth game or the Chase Meidroth game that never was? Game just went to the 11th, we'll find out what happens, but we'll recap. Luis Castillo neither gave the sox innings, nor good pitching. Bullpen failed as well, bad night for sox pitching. How concerned are you with the pitching as a whole?

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs with ANOTHER comeback win yesterday as Alex Bregman finally had his Cubs moment, tying it up in the B9th with a two-run shot to left. PCA is the hero in the 11th. The Cubs have the second most comeback wins in the league, one behind the Dbacks, and the most 9th inning comebacks with 7. Cubs went 2-1 vs. Gerrit Cole, Tarik Skubal, and Dylan Cease this week.
