Hood discussed the reported of another bad day for the Bears offense at Halas Hall by Kevin Fishbain.  He said “the ball was on the ground a lot.”  He also said there were a number of instances where Caleb and his receivers weren’t on the same page, and a number of throws that should have been better.  How long can this continue before it becomes concerning?  How many Blue Chip players does the Bears have on the team?

Hood discussed the Bears first preseason game against the Dolphins.  If the backup QB competition were close before the game, it would be hard to imagine a gap was made. Bagent was a mixed bag, and Keenum was really good, albeit against worse defenders.  Plus the Kap & J. Hood Cut of the day.

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Bears first preseason game against the Dolphins.  If the backup QB competition were close before the game, it would be hard to imagine a gap was made. Bagent was a mixed bag, and Keenum was really good, albeit against worse defenders. Who is in pole position for QB2? How much does it matter?  The Cubs are 6 games back in the division after dropping another series to a rival... The bats were lifeless in game 1, which was probably their worst effort of the year.  It's hard to see any hope of the Cubs making up 7 games in the standings against Milwaukee with only 45 to play.
