Romans 5:1 reads. "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Justified means "ACQUITTED".
FACT: God's wrath and the penalty for sin has been paid for by Messiah. His rising from the dead provided our acquittal in the court of Heaven. But, that acquittal has to be appropriated through a constant, steady, unwavering belief and trust that this fact is a true fact. This is real faith, which without it, no one can please God (Because one must seize the acquittal provided them).
But our soulish natures and demonic shadow person's influence will attack this certain faith, thus causing the sincere born again Christian to never reach their potential in relationship to the Father. Thus, diminishing their ability to destroy the works of the devil, being passive minded and defeated in their Christian walk. But, there is a PROCESS to building solid, steadfast, and God approved faith.
This process is activated by TRIALS and TRIBULATIONS and TESTING. These shadow people living inside of your soulish nature are born when we experience fear and rejection as children, the soul gets fragmented into different demonic personalities that we think is our real selves, but they are not. Our real selves get dominated and abused by these shadow people inside of us. They hinder and prevent our relationship with God, but can't prevent our eternal life. These demonic forces are used to test us.
They lie and attack our faith in two ways: First, they attack our belief that God has truly accepted our acquittal. Second, they attack our worthiness of the acquittal and make us do works to obtain favor. Both are stinking thinking. Both undermine the FACT that Messiah has acquitted us through his death and resurrection. God accepts our acquittal when we exercise steady unwavering commitment to that truth (faith). So, by allowing these shadow enemies to whisper doubt and lies to us is not conducive to our spiritual growth. We overcome them through the Blood of the Lamb (Which you have nothing to do with) and through our testimony (Which we have everything to do with).
In this teaching that the demons, your soulish nature, and fragmented shadow personalities do not want you to know, we show you the process in building up true faith. First, trials create Patient Endurance (steadfastness), then Endurance creates a Certificate of Approval (you have been tested and proved to be faithful), and then Hope (expectation of eternal life), and finally God fills you with His love like a flood, and you have proper relationship with Him. This episode is vital. It is of utmost importance that you understand this teaching because the TRUTH in it will in fact set you free from your demonic tormentors.
