It's episode 3 of Joan Vassos' season of the Golden Bachelorette-- and we continue to be fully enamored with the mansion men and with Joan. This week, Joan has one on one dates with Pascal and Jonathan, and a group date involving kickball. It's giving wholesome dad vibes and we are here for it. If you aren't watching this season, you are missing out on some fantastic television.
Karen & Kayleigh disagree on one thing - should Charles be in charge as the next Golden Bachelor? (assuming he isn't the person who wins Joan's heart) Disagreement aside, we both loved watching episode 2 of Joan Vassos' Golden Bachelorette season. Some of the men get to take Joan to senior senior prom, and the rest get to show off their talents. Chock wins the first one on one date - they go to Disneyland! Thank you, producers, for this palate cleanser of a season after the disaster you created for Jenn Tran.
Karen & Kayleigh are here for the right reasons-- we recap and review the US version of the Bachelor and its various iterations. Our very first ever Golden Bachelorette, Joan Vassos, is presented with 24 men to consider as potential boyfriends this season. The first episode was a true delight! We are excited to discuss it all- especially our new favorite person in the world-- Charles L from PA.
Bachelorette Jenn Tran deserved so much better than what she got from ABC. Join Karen & Kayleigh for discussion and airing of frustrations as Jenn Tran's time as Bachelorette comes to a close. We wish nothing but blue skies, warm sun, and the perfect love to come Jenn's way in the near future.
'Tis the season for fantasy suites and men telling all. Jenn Tran's season is rapidly coming to a close, so of course it's time for Karen & Kayleigh to discuss the Man Reunion, which was surprisingly tame overall, and the overnight dates, which were also surprisingly tame overall. Who are the two men left standing after a tension-fraught week? As for the Men and their Tell All, Jenn takes one man to task and otherwise it's a pretty laid back situation. But when Jenn unleashes, she is ruthless! We are so proud.
It's time for hometown visits for Bachelorette Jenn Tran! Jenn travels to Houston, Connecticut, San Diego, and Washington state to visit her four final guys in their hometowns. Devin organizes a 'love run', Jonathon plays lacrosse with Jenn, Jeremy takes her to the best grocery store ever, and Marcus? I guess they walk around a lake? Not entirely sure. We meet everyone's families, and say goodbye to Jeremy right about the time I forgave him for his sass earlier in the season. Karen & Kayleigh recap and discuss it all. Next week, Fantasy Suites AND Men Tell All episodes!
Karen is going solo this week while Kayleigh is off on another adventure, lucky girl. It's episode 6 of Jen Trann's season of the Bachelorette! We celebrate the end of Sam's reign but wave a sorrowful goodbye to Grant. Next week is hometowns! Where did this season go?
It is episode 5 of Jenn Tran's season of the Bachelorette, and Karen & Kayleigh are here for it! We say hello and goodbye to a man from Jenn's past, Grant and Jonathon have one on one dates, and one of Jenn's guys sends himself home, sending Jenn into a fear spiral. We say goodbye to one of our favorite dudes on this season! It's a two rose-ceremony kind of episode. Considering the fact that we recently learned that watching Jesse Palmer eat during one-on-one dates was the reason they stopped having people eat on dates at all, we sure do see a fair amount of Jesse eating as the host this season.
It's episode 4 of Jenn Tran's Bachelorette season! We are now in Aukland, New Zealand. Are you ready for some... rugby? Of course you are! In this episode, Jenn is coerced into Skyjumping on her one on one date with Sam M. She has less luck with the other Sam on the group date. (One Sam down, one to go, amirite?) Jenn and Devin have a great date learning about Maori culture and about their own similar upbringings and family dynamics. And Sam M and Devin have their own little 2 on 1 sans Bachelorette when they are stuck in the hotel together and alone for an entire day. Man, that had to be a load of laughs. Most importantly, the world finally learns why no one ever eats the food on one on one dates. Turns out, it was Jesse's fault. During his season he ate everything they put in front of him. The show provides video evidence too-- Jesse was apparently presented with more than one ear of corn for dinner on camera. He has a hard time slowing down on the chomping to have a conversation. Sam N heads home, but another, new but also old contestant potentially enters the game: Sir Matthew, a former boyfriend who flew all the way to NewZealand to declare his love. Good episode- we especially noted the change in approach toward other cultures. Great job, producers!
Once again Beth pinch hits while Karen is visiting family --thank you Beth! This week, the guys have to dance or drive to win Jen's attention. Spencer gets a one on one date. And men threaten violence over a bunch of made up rules. You know, the usual.
