Welcome to Roadcase!!  We are so incredibly pumped to have Karina Rykman on the show today.  Karina is an NYC native who brings it with an all-time level of energy and passion for music and for everything it takes to do what she loves.  Karina joined Marco Benevento's band on bass in 2016 when she replaced Dave Dreiwitz (Ween, JRAD), and since then has crafted a solo career, playing with a staggering array of artists including members of moe., The Disco Biscuits, Soulive and Robert Randolph to name just a few. She is set to release her very first album in the near future and it promises to be a hot one. Her solo material is emblematic of her own positive and energetic personality: it's fun, jazzy, poppy, funky and jammy. Reflecting on her own experiences of playing both with Marco and on her own -- Karina's path is emblematic of her deep love of music and artistic creation, and she proudly injects her amazing authentic self into everything she does.  Make sure to catch her on the road at a festival near you this summer, and in the meantime, hop on the Roadcase bus and learn more about this one-and-only human positivity hurricane, Karina Rykman.  It's gonna be a great ride!
