Raising children with special needs brings a new set of challenges to parenting. In addition to the normal parenting responsibilities there are more doctor appointments, therapists, outside caregivers, educators, and caring for other children. This year’s flooding in Davenport caused widespread devastation and loss in the downtown, but the area once under water will soon be filled with praise!! This family friendly event is the result of 15 churches coming together for a special evening set for September 1. There will be bounce houses, food, and games for kids along with a concert from area worship bands. Monday we’ll talk with Chris Werner and Neil McReynolds about this free community praise event!
