Top story: At least 12 children have drowned while others are feared missing in Ghana’s Central Region despite a ban on sea swimming due to COVID-19, officials say. The victims were among dozens who had flocked to the Apam beach in the Gomoa West District to play football on March 7th.

The victims include two females all ranging between the ages of 14 and 17, according to a statement from the Central Regional Police Command

Top story: The Supreme Court has affirmed Nana Akufo-Addo as the validly elected President of Ghana in the December 7, 2020 Presidential Election as it unanimously dismissed former President John Dramani Mahama’s petition against his election.

The highest court categorically stated that it could not order a run-off election between the President and Mr. Mahama on the basis of an error made by the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Adukwei Mensa, when she announced the result of the election on December 9, 2020 as the returning officer of the presidential ballot.

Mr Ahi asked the President’s Minister nominee for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Mrs Mavis Hawa Koomson, to tell the House what fish farming was and its advantages.
