Kate Kort was born in St. Louis, MO in 1985. She studied English and World Literature at Truman State University. Kate currently lives in a suburb of Portland, OR with her husband and three children. Some of Kate's favourite authors include Salman Rushdie, G.K. Chesterton, Carl Hiassen, Mikhail Bulgakov, Andrei Bely, and Arundhati Roy.
