Kathie and Lisa Talk About Books

In this episode, longtime friends and book lovers Kathie and Lisa chat about Allen Levi’s Theo of Golden—a story of an enigmatic newcomer who buys portraits from a local coffee shop and gives them to the people depicted. His thoughtful gestures bring neighbors together and invite reflection on art, kindness, grief, and what it means to truly see one another.

With their usual casual warmth and occasional philosophical detours, Kathie and Lisa share a friendly starting point for your own book-club conversation. Don’t belong to a book club? Join Kathie and Lisa.
