Diana explores a number of really interesting learnings from her career including the fact that she sees great benefits to working globally much earlier in our careers. Some of the benefits include learning to listen more deeply and understanding the importance of empathy.

Diana shared with me that the one element that she would change about today’s business environment is that we should all be more kind. No consulting jargon there, a very straightforward and poignant thought. Listeners are also implored not to put other people in a box, rather when mentoring, ask questions that allow for different options.

I particularly enjoyed Amy's pondering earlier in her career of 'Why are they always asking me to do things' (because Amy you have a phenomenal work ethic, verve and smarts) and her comment that she is 'fed by people' really resonated with me. You will really enjoy Amy's wisdom.

I spoke with Doug Ryder, 'Team Dimension Data' for Qhubeka Team Principal.

Doug is a South African cycling icon and Olympian turned leader of the first ever African registered team in the Tour de France.

The team also achieved it's bicycles change lives goal of raising funds to put 5000 students on bicycles.
