We're celebrating an outpouring of God's promises today: six dedications and baptisms! Jesus was dedicated in the Temple when he was a newborn, so Christian parents often choose this special prayer time as the first church for their young children. Baptism, meanwhile, is the formal Christian entrance rite into the family of Jesus Christ--at any age, according to Scripture. So we celebrate both joyfully!
