Jesus taught the disciples to pray like this, “Our Father… What a revelation. He was not saying “My Father”, as he had every right to, but Our Father.

This week we lead into Jesus’ teaching on prayer.

Jesus has prepared a place for us in His Father’s house. Jesus is the way. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

In Matthew 22, Jesus tells us what the greatest commandment is:  “Love your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind”…. and the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” How is your relationship with God, and your fellow man?

Paul in his 2nd letter to the Corinthians, encourages the church there to look at the example of the Macedonian churches and the sacrificial giving of their resources. Do we need to look more closely at our attitude to giving?

How do we impact our community, and make the good news of Jesus known to those who don’t know?

God gives us gifts in order to do His work here on earth. (Ephesians 4).

Our mission is to spread the good news of Jesus, but we can’t do it all by ourselves. Even superheros have some help and support.

Who is the superhero of superheros? Jesus! Is he your superhero?

Being made new in the image of Christ, is our witness to others.
