What do you bring with you when you come into God’s house?

When we pray, do we talk WITH God, or do we talk TO God? Is it a conversation, or do we just present God with our wish list? Do we listen to what God has to say?

Continuing in Acts 16, Paul & Silas taking the good news to the people.

Acts 16:Paul and Silas were in gaol, but just where they were, imprisoned and beaten, they praised God, and witnessed for Him, and brought the gaoler and his household to the Lord. What can we do, where we are, in our neighborhood, or wherever we might be?

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works”. (Eph 2: 10)

Every day we make choices. Some good, some not so good. How do we make a choice to become what God wants us to be?

The Israelite journey from Egypt to the promised land is full of interesting situations, with plenty of lessons for us today. Peter Francis of Malyon College speaks about this journey and draws from it the amazing difference between fear and faith. Where do we stand? Today, are we experiencing fear or are we feeling more like we have the faith to face whatever today brings? In either case, there are important lessons to take from Moses, the Israelites and God’s promise to them about the land He had given them.

We have different seasons in our life. Life isn’t always like Springtime, but God is with us in all we do or experience. He is faithful.

People call us by a name according to who we are and how we behave. What are you to be known as?
