For our first episode, the deacons welcome award-winning Catholic author Kaya Oakes and discuss her recent book, The Defiant Middle. 

Oakes is an alumna of Newman Hall – Holy Spirit Parish, which the Paulists serve at UC Berkeley in Berkeley, CA.
