About a month ago, Zara Larsson‘s friends started sending her obscure TikTok videos that used her song with Clean Bandit, “Symphony.” The posts had random observations or dark self-loathing messages — like “I have social anxiety,” “I’m scared of people,” and “I’m pregnant and it’s yours” — written over images of dolphins flying in a Lisa Frank-esque world. The posts were quite strange, with some getting a few thousand likes.
“I was like, ‘Why is this getting so much attention?’” the pop star remembers thinking. “And then boom, the whole internet started thinking it was funny.”
Larsson has been making pop music since she was a teenager. In 2017, her second album So Good broke her out internationally, with hit singles ‘Lush Life’ and ‘Ain’t My Fault’ entering the UK Top 10. She kept a moderate hold on pop stardom in the following years, returning to the Top 10 with ‘Ruin My Life’ in 2018 and the Top 20 with David Guetta collab ‘On My Love’ in 2023. “I feel like people rediscover me every couple of years,” she told Line Of Best Fit in September 2025. What propelled her from occasional hitmaker to pop girl of the moment? A TikTok meme.

Jim Carrey’s first public appearance of the year – at the César Awards in France – turned into a conspiracy-fest for many social media users, who fixated on the actor’s apparent new look. As one person put it on X, “This is some Truman show stuff.”
Carrey, who announced his retirement in 2022, attended the ceremony honoring his lifetime of cinematic work alongside his partner Min Ah, his daughter Jane and his grandson Jackson. It was his first time in front of the cameras since November 2025, when he inducted Soundgarden into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Selena Gomez loves Benny Blanco from his head to his toes.
The Rare Beauty founder shared a touching tribute to her husband one day after his latest project sparked unexpected online discourse about his appearance.
“I fall more and more in love with you every day,” she wrote in a Feb. 25 Instagram Stories post alongside a selfie video of herself and Benny repeatedly locking lips, addressing the romantic message to “my love.”
Hours earlier, Benny announced the launch of his new Friends Keep Secrets podcast series with pals Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco, but the debut episode of the trio’s new media venture resulted in some unlikely commentary after viewers caught a glimpse of the soles of the record producer’s feet covered in black dirt and dust.

Alysa Liu's joyous run to the gold medal in women's figure skating was one of the best stories of the Milan Cortina Olympics and has fans of the newly crowned U.S. superstar wondering what's next.
She provided a hint Sunday during the Closing Ceremony of the Milan Cortina Games.
During the ceremony's parade of athletes, Liu took a moment to speak with NBC's Andrea Joyce. Joyce asked Liu directly if she wants "to come back for another one," with "another one" presuming to mean an Olympic gold medal.
Liu deftly dodged answering the question directly, but made clear that she's not done with competitive figure skating.

We were rooting for you, Reality Check, we were all rooting for you!
But alas, Netflix‘s documentary about the rise and fall of America’s Next Top Model is a rather grueling and self-serious affair which attempts to turn the reality hit that ran for 24 seasons into a cultural war crime.
Across three episodes, Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model presents many of the well-known controversies surrounding the reality hit and interviews the show’s oft-apologetic producers and coaches — including Tyra Banks.

Emerald Fennell‘s highly anticipated adaptation of Wuthering Heights made its debut in Hollywood on Wednesday — and don’t be expecting an exact retelling of Emily Brontë’s classic novel.
The 1847 book follows the intense love affair between Heathcliff (played by Jacob Elordi) and Catherine Earnshaw (Margot Robbie) in 18th-century England; Fennell’s version, which is being stylized with quotation marks as “Wuthering Heights,” features some key casting changes, addition of numerous sex scenes and a soundtrack courtesy of Charli xcx.

As ICE’s aggressive operation in Minneapolis has turned deadly with the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, public outcry against the agency’s use of force and violence has grown louder. Earlier this month, new polling from the Economist and YouPoll confirmed support for ICE is rapidly eroding, with 46 percent of U.S. citizens supporting the abolishing of ICE.

Now, celebrities are using their platforms to speak up and condemn the organization’s deadly tactics in Minnesota and across the U.S. Celebrities like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Pedro Pascal, and more have all shared passionate speeches on red carpets, posted emotional videos on Instagram, and urged people to keep using their voices. Here’s who has spoken out so far.

Karamo Brown has unfollowed all but one of his “Queer Eye” cast mates.
Brown is no longer following Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness or Tan France on Instagram. He still follows Jeremiah Brent, who joined the cast of “Queer Eye” during season 9 after Bobby Berk’s exit. Brown still follows Berk as well.
Brown recently alluded to drama with his “Queer Eye” costars when he skipped several television appearances promoting the show’s 10th and final season, which premiered on Netflix Wednesday, Jan. 21.
He sent a video message to “Today” explaining why he was absent from a Tuesday, Jan. 20, interview with Porowski, Van Ness, France and Brent.
