Finishing up our chat of our mutual vacation, we talk about watching some awesome Korean movies, Train to Busan and BigBang's Made. We also chat about what we're watching — drama shorts for Stephanie and actual dramas like W, Age of Youth, and Five Children for Cherry. (Yes, we all know Cherry is the better Kdrama fan, let's not all rub it in Stephanie's face.)

Another KCON has been put to bed, which means it's that time again for our KCON wrap up post! Why do we love this particular episode so much? It's the one time the entire year we not only record from the same side of the country, but we're in the same space! In this case? A car. On the highway. In the desert. So road noise is a thing. As always with our KCON wrap up episode, it is left completely as is, as in no editing at all. We recorded it and put it directly on the site. (Which is good, because with all the photos left to edit, Stephanie has no time for such shenanigans like editing.) It's also long. Epically long. But she left that, too. In the episode, we talk about KCON, panels, awesome listener meet ups, and of course, Kpop. Lots and lots of Kpop. Kim Jong Kook, Block B, Monsta X, Lee Min Ho, SHINee, and of course, BTS.

Guess the show title pretty much explains it all. There's a bump in our schedule due to incoming KCON so we recorded a drama casting! We also take some time out of our busy lives to squee over Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.

Stephanie is tired. Dog tired. Ugly dog tired. This may make her a little punchy. This episode we're talking dramas you can't find anywhere and whether it's getting better or worse, we have an honest to goodness voicemail where we talk Kcon tickets, and imagine who the Korean tourism board would gift us with if we are very, very good — and what we'd do with them once we got them. Comments on comments and announcing the LA KCon panels round out the chat.

Can you believe it? We watched stuff! And in the case of Stephanie, lots of stuff! And again in the case of Stephanie, lots of very, very, very bad stuff! Cherry is quite satisfied with her smaller list of stuff that didn't suck so hard. Plus, we're talking exciting changes in the KCON line up and how we're going to be in the same side of the country in two weeks! Can LA handle that much… awesome? Yeah. Let's go with awesome.

After a few weeks of special episodes, we're back to our regularly scheduled programming. We're finishing up the B-Side which means chatting about meeting real life listeners in real life, Stephanie's pet name for Cherry Cordial (hint: It's Cherry Cordial), Kpop Coffee, Operation Kdrama Chat's new show poll, comments on comments, and finally answer a listener question about Korean drinking rules.

This last weekend was KCON NY! (And Stephanie may still be recovering…) This year she decided to record the popular Secret Lives of Kpop Fans Over 30 panel for those of you who were not able to be there to hear it! The panel is moderated by MultifacetedACG and includes panelists Young Ajummah, ZombieMama, Lisa from Hancinema, and, well, Stephanie. The panel was just as much fun as last year, and the group chatted topics such as encounters of the K-idol kind, ultimate biases, how to deal with the anti-fans of your life, and just what it's like being some of the oldest people in the room.

What a rollercoaster of a week. We went from thinking the show was going to be late, to not happening at all this week, to a special recording which will get us up right on time! Due to said rollercoaster week, this is a different sort of episode. We chat a bit about plans for a KCON meet up and Junsu-inspired English lessons but mainly fill our time with a summer-inspired "who would you", which takes us to the ocean, a camping trip, a pirate ship, and a day of drama sloth.

After a few weeks of special episodes, we're back to just us! It feels weird. Is it weird? We're hopping right back in, talking about dramas we're watching, like Another Miss Oh, announcing Stephanie's KCON NY-adjacent panels, talk meetups, Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, Heechul! Heechul! Heechul! and we, of course, have to talk about #burgerpartyforjungkook. We're back in the k-saddle again!

Update: Sorry about that. We had the wrong audio first time around. It's correct now, so please re-download.
