Kchat Jjigae Podcast

Sometimes you need a little help to watch a drama and then sometimes you need someone to tell you to sit your butt down in front of that tv and just watch that show! I think we all know where Stephanie is currently living. Talking about Devil Punisher, My Unicorn Girl, A Tale of 1000 Stars, Lovely Writer, Color Rush, Shall We Dance and the slightly horrifying HIStory 4.

Also, let's all bask in the success of Stephanie finally becoming a Choice. She loves them so much she put a ring on it! (Or paid shipping and handling)

Do you ever count up the hours of dramas you watch? Episode here, an episode there, then you realize, in the last month you watched ALL of Manner of Death, We Best Love, Hours of Tale of a Thousand Stars, Run On, Let's Fight Ghost! Let's count them all up and see how many hours...no, never mind, let's not do that, bad idea. Eventually, we'll have to admit to how much 'screen time' it amounts to and you'd just embarrass yourself. In the last-ditch of winter here in Colorado, a cold and rainy night, we're going to sit here under a cozy blanket, drink hot coffee and talk about stuff. First on the list the recent breakup between Spotify and Kakao M and then a foray into all of the awesome-sounding new kdramas coming in this month. Seriously, so many! Gotta get watching!

Thanks to various birthdays the watching field is pretty varied this week! We have mini-dramas like the idol-packed Convenience Store Fling, movies with Midnight Runners, old school Kdramas with She Would Never Known, and of course, our favorite BLs with the odd Win Jamie's Heart and the surprisingly addictive Gen Y.

Recorded on the last day of 2020 for release the first day of 2021, it seemed only right to spend some time talking about good things that happened in 2020, because, if we squint real hard, there were some! And then talk about hopes for the upcoming year, the hopeful return of concerts, what that means, new groups to learn, travel, and hopes for new shows. Hopes, not plans because we all know what comes of plans!
