Flaunting his executive power post-impeachment, Trump granted clemency to eleven convicted felons on Tuesday, including former junk bond king Michael Milken. Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who was sentenced for trying to sell a seat in the Senate, was also pardoned by Trump. Those granted clemency also included former commissioner of the New York Police Department Bernard Kerik, entrepreneur Ariel Friedler, and reality star Angela Stanton.

Renowned professor and feminist icon Anita Hill visited UCSB Wednesday, speaking on America’s deep-rooted climate of sexual harassment and how to proceed in the wake of the #MeToo movement and Kavanaugh hearings. In her lecture, entitled “From Social Movement to Social Impact: Putting an End to Sexual Harassment,” she talked about speaking truth to power, overarching cultural misogyny, and the importance of trusting survivors. The Biko House is a co-operative living space, that provides a safe space for people of color and raises awareness on intersectional issues within and beyond the community of Isla Vista. The garage space serves as an all-purpose community space for meetings, performances, art exhibits, and workshops.
