Ramblers 11/14/24 - International student and KCSU sports volunteer Josephine Snowden hopped on Ramblers to chat about the CSU Hockey Team. Snowden watched the team's game against the University of Central Oklahoma and gives her honest thoughts of CSU's performance. Each period was full of strength and high energy, with Connor Pietrangelo mentioned in regards to being sent off for a 5 minute power play. Snowden also interviewed Kyle Greene, who reflected over the game and CSU's disappointing loss.
Ramblers 11/14/2024 - Austin Martin, Trey DuFauchard, Phoenix Behrens, Colin Shea, and Josephine Swanson bring you Interviews with Rams Volleyball Player Jordan Tynskey and Club Ice Hockey Player Kyle Greene. After recapping this week in sports, Austin and Phoenix dive into the near future of Women’s Volleyball after they clinch a spot in the Mountain West Conference Championship Tournament. The Josephine Swanson talks about her experience at the Ice Hockey match against the University of Central Oklahoma. Then to wrap it up Colin Shea talking about the Rams’ Basketball programs as they start of their seasons with a bang.

Ramblers 11/8/24 - Austin Martin, Trey DuFauchard, Max Ebert (23-24 year Sports Producer at KCSU), Colin Shea (Sports Volunteer), and Josephine Snowdin (Sports Volunteer) talk about their experience at KCSU and with sports to support the station during their semi-annual fundraiser: DJ-Athon. Max talks about his experience at KCSU and how it helped him get his foot in the door to sports producing for other programs, including an internship (“that’s not technically an internship”) with the Colorado Rockies. Colin and Josephine then talk about their experience in sports and what their hopes are for their future in the industry.

Ramblers 10/24/24 - Join Trey DuFauchard, Phoenix Behrens, and Ella Perkins in the studio and occasionally Austin Martin on the sidelines as we talk about F1 and Rams sports. Ella’s proficiency with F1 gives the rest of the studio insight and opportunities to ask questions to better understand one of the biggest motor sports in the world. Austin also got the opportunity to interview #74 Tanner Morley, the Offensive back for the Ram’s Football Team. After updates from Austin about the ongoing soccer match from the sidelines, Trey and Phoenix get into where the Ram’s position for their volleyball and football seasons.

Austin got the opportunity to interview with quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi about his thoughts on Tory Horton's season-ending injury, how his high school career in Aledo, Texas has provided him a mindset where "you gotta love [the game]", and quarterbacks he finds inspiration through. Back in the studio, the Sports Team reflects on the Rams' win against San Jose State and the disappointment of Horton's injury, as well as the candidates that are up to fill the wide receiver position for the rest of the season. They share their wants for the game against Air Force Academy on 10/19, thinking back to the Colorado University Boulder rivalry game back in September and how they want that energy from the crowd as they look ahead for the Homecoming game against New Mexico.

High school football teams from around Fort Collins, hosted by the Poudre School Districts, flock to Canvas Stadium to face the other teams in a real college stadium. Gideon breaks down his choice of players to look out for, including Pierce Decker from Poudre, Brady Mallette from Rocky Mountain, Tanner Gray and Cash Altschwager from Wellington, and Vince Hochhalter from Timnath. He also looks at what each team will need to do to beat one another in their respective games.
