As reported yesterday by KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh, Rocky Mountain Resource Management officially submitted a proposal to expand the Limestone Quarry near Glenwood Springs. If the Bureau of Land Management considers the expansion proposal complete then it will be posted for public review and eventually a public comment period will begin under the National Environmental Policy Act. The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission strengthened air quality standards last November for oil and gas operations on the Front Range.
