Back from 2.5 months of cruise ship work. Great experiences but I def didn't get better at stand up. I don't know why I obsess, cause the cruise ship and booking agency don't give a rip. 

When we leave home for travel, we build ourselves up and are somewhat ready for the blows of travel. When returning, we often have our guard down and think we'll just slide right back into regular life as if we're the same person. We're not. Re-entry can be rough. Whether it's travel, school, war, etc.

Being out for 6 weeks is a long time no matter which way you slice it. Even on a luxury cruise ship you can get cabin fever, in your own head and def get stir crazy. 

Felt like I was on another planet in another time. Maybe 1700's? 

Never thought I'd be in Tonga, but a beautiful island with resilient people. Volcano and tsunami rocked their kingdom earlier this year. 

Island hopping in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. So much history. Just a collision of cultures. 

Hanging with Billy Ocean in the Caribbean. The last thing these happy people need is comedy. 

First week down in Miami. I'm very out of sorts. Hope something here makes sense. Cruise life is a trip. Lit and fig. World of fantasia, but can also be nightmarish if you let your mind wander too much. Gotta stay centered. 

Hitting the water for six weeks. Miami and then Australia. Freedom and independence? Or isolation?
