Keebcast

In this episode, we are joined by Ashkeebs (www.ashkeebs.com)! Ash is a vendor based in Canada that got his start by offering switch lubing as a service. Fast forward to today and Ashkeebs is recognized as one of the most trusted vendors in NA. Ash allowed us to touch on subjects such as best practices for lubing switches, the idea of everything in this hobby truly being a preference, and the process of designing a keycap set and watching it come to life. We had a lot of fun getting to know Ashkeebs better.

In this episode, we sat down with the legendary Wilba (wilba.tech). Wilba has been apart of the mech community for many years and has been a driving force within the industry itself. We were able to talk about the Rama Foundry Thermal and the progression of the project. We also had a great conversation about "sound tests" and just how sound is perceived within the hobby. Wilba gave us a lot of insight and really allowed us to explore some new topics with the live chat.

Have a fantastic week!

On this episode of Keebcast we were joined by Robert and Max from Clackeys (https://www.clackeys.com/). We had a lot of really great conversations starting out as a business in this space, some of the early inspiration for certain caps, and even some talk on different IPs for movies and video games making their way into the scene. Overall this was a lot of fun for us and it was a very informative conversation. Hope you guys enjoyed this one!

This week we are joined by another keyboard streamer by the name of Lightning Keyboards (https://www.twitch.tv/lightningkeyboards)! Lightning has been in the hobby for over 5 years and has quite a knowledge base when comes to everything keyboards. He has a stream where he does client builds and he is very active in helping to make the mech community a better place for all.

This week we had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with KatanaxKaji. Katana is a Latin American streamer and keyboard content creator who is really helping to push the community forward. It was a very insightful conversation and if you get a chance to check out his stream (https://www.twitch.tv/katanaxkaji), you definitely won't regret it.

Huge thanks to Frank and to all of you who joined us live!

StrayChroma is a very talented keyboard streamer and a psychology student. In this podcast, we talked about some budget keyboards, "is a hotdog a sandwich?", and a good amount of video game talk. The conversations were a lot of fun and it was refreshing to explore so many random topics!

This week we had the pleasure of sitting down with Brandon Taylor, aka BT, aka https://www.youtube.com/c/btunplugged. BT is one of the staples in the tech YouTube scene with a focus on office/gaming peripherals. Over the past couple of years, BT has found himself in the mech community and has made many videos updating the community on upcoming group buys and product releases that excite him! We had a great time talking with BT about some of the more recent "dramas" of the scene and it was nice to hear his perspective on things.

Thank you to Brandon and all of you who showed up to the stream.

Have a fantastic week!

This week we had the pleasure of sitting down with Jorge from Keycult. We got to talk about many different potential avenues for Keycult in the near future as well as what Jorge's thoughts were on the current state of Keycult within the community. It is always nice to hear more from those who seem to be industry phantoms that create spectacular products but you never really hear where these ideas or solutions come from.

Huge thanks to Jorge for his time and to all of you who watched with us live!  Have a fantastic week!

This week Ragan and Alex sit down with Dixie Mech (dixiemech.com and soon to be Omnitype). They talk about the rebrand of Dixie Mech to Omnitype and then roll into many different topics brought up by chat. It is always cool to hear the thoughts and opinions of those behind the scenes, so to have this group together resulted in some very interesting conversations.

Thank you to Dixie for rounding out the year of 2020!

Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and New Years'!

Have a fantastic year!
