  • Keebcast Episode 4 - Great Starter Boards and Kits

This episode is focused on what Chase, Ragan, and Alex recommend for those new to the mechanical keyboard hobby. They start by talking about off-the-shelf prebuilt options such as Ducky, Corsair, or Razer keyboards. This leads into a conversation about the common prebuilt hotswap options such as the Drop CTRL or Drop ALT, and the Glorious GMMK lineup. From here they move into great starting kits from places like KBDFans and 1UPKeyboards. We hope this episode brings you both insight and entertainment!

  • Keebcast (Formerly Typebeasts) Episode 1 - Getting into the hobby of Mechanical Keyboards
    Hey there!
My name is Chase Gant (@chasedotgg) and I have been getting really into the hobby of custom made keyboards and all that surrounds them. This is a hobby that has proven difficult to get started in, passed buying a gaming-style keyboard with mechanical switches. To ease the pain of initiation into the hobby, I have partnered up with Alexotos (@alexotos on Instagram and @otosalex on Twitter), a master of photography and just what looks visibly appealing, who in the past 6 months has really started to establish himself as one of the great rising stars in the mech community. I also have the pleasure of working with Ragan from SpaceCables.net (@spacecables on Instagram and @Space_Cables on Twitter). Ragan has one of the fastest-growing custom cable companies within the industry and wants to share his perspectives as someone who is also fairly new to the community.
