Ahoy there, pirates. This week in Sea of Thieves, let's dig into the latest patch notes for the game. We'll also talk about the new hunting spears and one of my favorite cross-studio collaborations I've seen Rare do, this time with Bungie. A lot of changes came with the latest patch as the studio worked to make the game more stable and reliable. There are a few things they are aware of that aren't currently working, and I'll be sure to cover that as well as the new penalty system for people breaking the code.

This week in Sea of Thieves, we got a bunch of updates and events rolling in for the game's seventh anniversary. Congrats to the studio for continuing to release free updates and for constantly looking to the horizon for more to come. It's a short week in news for Sea of Thieves but we found out that they were nominated for Best Evolving Game at the BAFTAs that are going to be live on April 8th. The last time the studio won an award for the game was back in 2021 so it will be interesting to see if they can pull in another win, in a year where there were some heavy hitters for liver service games. Aside from that, I talk a bit about losing Cora and how the community lost one of our OG pirates JPizzle. If you don't know who he was, just know that he was a kind person with a hard life and a hell of a controller player. New ledgers are live for the Guilds and Hunter's Call so get out there and get earning!

This week in Sea of Thieves, it's time to check out what changes resulted from some emergency maintenance on the servers to address issues with the game. I also wanted to go back to the patch notes for Season 15 and ensure that all of the updates had been discussed so folks going back to the seas know what to expect!

Love the communication from the devs as they continue to update us on the issues they're looking to resolve. I'm hoping we'll hear more about some of the recurring issues we've seen still in the game.
