In addition to hosting a podcast, "Coffee on the Couch." 

I'm also a freelance writer. As well as a Freelance copywriter. Those two can at times go hand in hand. I work remotely. and live in rural Maine, about 15 minutes from the Canadian border.

Another fun fact about me! I'm a stay-at-home dad! So, I'm the one getting the kids on and off the bus. I'm the one picking them up when they need to come home sick from school. I'm originally from Massachusetts, where I lived a good chunk of my life. Officially making the move to Maine upon meeting my now wife and falling in love with the area. I was no stranger to the 4 seasons. But Up here it truly feels like I'm living in Mayberry from the Andy Griffith Show!

 

I come from a family background where we were primarily raised with an Italian-based foundation. My last name is deceitful because it's very French, and I actually am French... But As I said I was raised in an Italian family culture as were my siblings. One thing that was really drilled into you at a young age is... "You never go against the family!"

 

Kidding, Kidding. But seriously family was a very serious component of my upbringing. Now, I will say this is in all seriousness, though. According to stories passed down from my Nonna to my dad to me. My great, great uncle on my dad's side was in fact "Angelo the gentle Don Bruno." So.. although we weren't raised in a mafia family. it was near enough to my timeline that me and my siblings got a bit of the stereotypical Italian background and family traits.

My dad, when he was a kid, actually brushed shoulders with connected individuals when he was at a place in his young life where he was in a quasi-role of running the day-to-day operations of a convenience store. and enjoying some of the perks of doing right by the actual owner of the store, who not only paid tributes to connected members but suspiciously had an "accident" and broke his leg at one point. And I guess as a caveat, they knew my Nonna In her younger years and really took a liking to her. So, for lack of better words, he enjoyed some of the perks that came along with that level of respect.

Long story short, Life had other plans, and he ended up in a different job by the time he was a little bit older, where he met my mom.

People have said to me that my dad and I are very similar in the regard we are both "storytellers," and No, I don't mean in a fictitious or deceitful way. But instead in a manner of recounting life's stories and telling them to people. Sometimes multiple times. Because we forgot we told them to that person.

It's hard for me to tell stories and not have them associated with my family at large. They're just interconnected. And, oftentimes, very entertaining. But not nearly as engaging and entertaining as my dad's stories growing up as a kid during a very precarious Era.

 

More about me though, I’ve had various self-employed positions over a span of years. I ran my own basic landscaping company. I was the only employee, and I covered a handful of tasks such as mowing, weed-wacking, seasonal cleanup, as well as various odd jobs within that sector of work.

I was also a reseller, where I focused on collectibles, such as comics, video game related inventory, collectible action figures, various other collectibles, like cameras, various trading cards, records, and more.

I really enjoyed that field as there was a sort of high involved with finding something that was either priced to sell or undervalued for various reasons. Then, take that item and sell it at market value. Comics were exceedingly great for that.

I also worked in a ministry for a number of years both as an intern as well as a staff member.

Sunita is a business veteran, scientist, engineer and alchemist. She is the founder of Success and Spirit, and hosts the Aligned Alchemist Podcast. Her brand is for visionary leaders and spiritually attuned entrepreneurs who want to find their authentic flow in life and business. She works business owners, helping them find their flow and hone their marketing in line with their Human Design. She also speaks to the notion of overall vitality and mastering your subconscious mind. Her formal background includes 20 years in business, an MBA in Marketing and Corporate Strategy, and MSc in Functional Medicine and an Engineering degree from Cornell.
After years in high power positions in Silicon Valley and NYC, Sunita sought out entrepreneurship for more flexibility and control over her life.
