A revered piece of 80's Horror or an overrated nostalgia trip? There's no denying that the Poltergeist has cultivated quite a following over the years but is it warranted?

In our season finale, we're ending things with a bump in the night as we cross over to the other side in order to examine Poltergeist, the apparently cursed creation from Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper.

Time Bandits is a sci-fi swashbuckler that has become somewhat of a cult classic over the years, but what impression will it leave on me. Michael Palin has plenty of credentials and co-writer/director Terry Gilliam has earned a well-deserved reputation too, but how will their skill sets work in the realm of family fantasy adventure?

Considered an "unfinished masterpiece" by some and completely negated by others, it's cultivated a divisive and polarising reputation spanning close to two decades.

Watching it for the very first time, I put aside the speculation and the controversy and I look at the film as a body of work. I weigh up what it has to offer and then make the ultimate decision.
