    On this episode #93:
    - The Kansas Jayhawks took care of business in the opening round of March Madness, dispatching Texas Southern, but their Round of 32 game vs. Creighton went down to the wire before the Jayhawks won by 7.  Blake and Tommy discuss the expectation for KU entering their Sweet Sixteen game on Friday against Providence, plus the emergence of Remy Martin in March, the woes of the frontcourt and how the draw for KU has fallen their way to make it to the Final Four.
    - Kansas State has a brand new basketball coach, replacing Bruce Weber who resigned after the Wildcats exit in the Big 12 Tournament.  Jerome Tang, who was the top assistant under Scott Drew at Baylor for nearly 20 years will get his first collegiate head coaching job in Manhattan.  Blake and Tommy discuss their outlook on Tang as head coach for K-State and if he can turn the Wildcats into a contender again.

  • Episode 92: Keeper of the Games - Season 3 Episode 4 - March 10, 2022
March Madness is officially here and we are ready to drop a brand new episode of Keeper of the Games!  Welcome to the KOGpod, with Blake Cripps and Tommy Castor!!
    On this episode #92:
    - The Kansas Jayhawks are entering the Big 12 Tournament as a #1 seed but probably need to make a deep run in the conference tourney to snag a 1 seed in the Big Dance next week.  Blake and Tommy break down what it will take for KU to succeed in March and what sort of flaws the Jayhawks will need to overcome.
    - Kansas State lost on Wednesday night to West Virginia in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament, ending their season (unless they go to the NIT).  It was a hugely disappointing end to the season for KSU, especially as they had been in the NCAA tourney hunt as recently as January.  The guys discuss if this is truly the end for Bruce Weber at K-State and what sort of direction the Wildcats will take in the future.
    - Wichita State enters the AAC tournament as a 7 seed, and although the Shockers have had a disappointing season, they have the opportunity to make a run in the conference tournament.  The guys break down what went wrong for WSU and what Isaac Brown should be focusing on in the offseason.
    - Women's basketball is entering tournament time as well and Blake and Tommy discuss the contract extension for Big 12 Coach of the Year Brandon Schneider at KU, plus the talent that the K-State women have, and what could be next for Keitha Adams at Wichita State.
    - Our Wichita Whiparound gives an update on high school basketball state tournaments and Luke Barnwell from Sunrise Christian winning Coach of the Year for the 2nd year in a row.

  • Episode 91: Keeper of the Games - Season 3 Episode 3 - February 24, 2022
Keeper of the Games is back, this time on the road to March Madness! Welcome to the KOGpod, with Blake Cripps and Tommy Castor!!
    On this episode #91:
    - The Wichita State Shockers went up against #14 Houston over the weekend and put up a valiant effort, but ultimately fell in overtime by 2 points.  Blake and Tommy discuss what could have been for WSU and since the Shockers seem destined to miss the NCAA Tourney (barring an American tournament championship), what went wrong and what needs to be addressed in the offseason by Isaac Brown and his staff.
    - The Sunflower Showdown part Deux took place Tuesday night inside Allen Fieldhouse as Kansas took down Kansas State with ease 102-83.  Blake and Tommy discuss the speed in which the Jayhawks played that game and if that can translate to a potential deep March Madness run.  Also, with that loss, KSU falls to 6-9 in the Big 12, but had they picked up a win last weekend against Oklahoma State, they very well could have been in the driver's seat for an NCAA tourney bid.  Now, things look to be much more difficult for the Wildcats to get in.
    - The Wichita Thunder are the hottest hockey team in the ECHL.  The team, which suffered through a long losing streak spanning parts of December and January, have battled back to .500.  Blake and Tommy discuss what happened for the Thunder to get back into the playoff hunt and some of the key members of the team that have contributed to this turnaround.
    - Our Wichita Whiparound gives an update on League 42 partnership with the Orpheum Theatre to show the movie 42, and Blake gives an update on Newman University baseball.
    - To wrap up the program, in our A's C's and R's segment, we update the latest on the Chiefs off-season moves, including the release of linebacker Anthony Hitchens.

    On this episode #90:
    - The Kansas City Chiefs come up short of their 3rd straight Super Bowl appearance, losing in the AFC Championship Game to the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime.  The Chiefs held a 21-10 lead at halftime, but their 2nd half offense faltered and now the Chiefs have some big time questions to answer in the offseason.  Blake and Tommy discuss what happened to KC in the AFC Championship, plus what priorities the Chiefs need to address in the offseason.
    - Wichita State softball has been picked to win the AAC, and they start their season with a #25 overall ranking in the country.  What can Coach Bredbenner do to maintain the success that WSU had last season? Also, Shocker baseball looks to build off of a rollercoaster year last year as Eric Wedge continues to try to get his squad to take their next step forward.  Blake and Tommy preview WSU diamond sports in this segment.
    - Our Wichita Whiparound gives an update on the Wichita Force professional football team joining a new league, and Blake gives an update on Newman Jets athletics.

    - The Kansas City Chiefs enter their bye week on a 4 game winning streak after defeating the Dallas Cowboys 19-9 on Sunday.  The Chiefs defense was dominant, led by Chris Jones and Frank Clark.  The Chiefs are now 7-4 and in control of the AFC West.  The guys discuss the effort and where the Chiefs stand going into Thanksgiving.
    - Kansas State football fell to Baylor over the weekend in Manhattan, but the KSU defense was solid, limited Baylor to one of their worst offensive conference games.  The offense wasn't quite there for the Wildcats, especially with an injury to Skylar Thompson.  What will things look like for K-State offensively next season?  The guys discuss.
    - Kansas football continued their steady improvement by playing TCU tough in Fort Worth over the weekend, falling by last second field goal 31-28.  Blake and Tommy discuss the late game clock management from the Jayhawks and how there not being a letdown against TCU is so important for KU moving forward.
    - The Wichita State Shockers are 4-1, including going 1-1 in Vegas over the weekend.  Isaac Brown's crew has typically struggled out of the gate, especially offensively, but have been able to get wins.  WSU takes on Missouri, Oklahoma State and Kansas State their next 3 games, so the Shockers have a good chance to improve their record.
